The Slaney Language Centre:
The Slaney Language Centre is located just outside Wexford town in a castle building overlooking the river Slaney and the Blackstairs Mountains. Wexford is a picturesque and lively coastal town located in the Southeast, the sunniest part of Ireland. County Wexford is famous for its miles of unspoiled sandy beaches, its music festivals and its welcoming people.
Once a walled town, Wexford retains something of its medieval early character, with lots of interesting narrow streets and laneways, and a long attractive quayside. But today Wexford is truly cosmopolitan, with an eclectic variety of independent shops, craftspeople, hotels, gourmet restaurants and artisan food producers. It is one of the most popular Irish destinations for Irish tourists and increasingly for foreign visitors too: the long beaches, the moderate climate (this is, after all the sunny South East), the opera and culture festival, being just a few of many attractions.
