Preschool:

Photo of Christian PK-12 School in Jacksonville, FLUniversity Christian School's Preschool is unlike the majority of preschools in Jacksonville. Our preschool program is not purely a developmental experience, but also includes academics, as well, thus meeting the needs of the whole child.

Preschoolers enjoy an array of academic studies including Bible, pre-reading and reading skills, writing skills, and the fundamentals of Math. Enrichment activities such as Spanish, art, library, and music, are also key to the program's success. A preschool child will learn through a center based activity schedule utilizing science, math, art, writing and hands on activities and iteraction play. Preschoolers attend either a full day or 1/2-day program, with field trips related to study throughout the year.

Elementary School:
Students receive daily Bible instruction, and every opportunity is taken during the course of the day to share and apply Biblical Truth. The elementary curriculum incorporates a well-balanced range of academic subjects, featuring phonics and systematic reading instruction, hands-on math experiences, and a discovery approach to science. Enrichment opportunities include music, physical education, library, and computers.

Also featured are weekly chapels, spelling bees, art fairs, community speakers, safety patrol, and field trips.

Middle School:
There are many changes for a Middle School student and we hope to be a positive influence in their lives. At University Christian we encourage our students to participate in Future Career classes to start thinking ahead, Computer classes that give our students the correct fundamentals of computer processing, foreign language classes, and an opportunity to explore their artistical talents in music, band and art .

Middle School has Jr. Beta Club, Class Officers, and other opportunities for leadership. We encourage our students to get involved and prepare themselves for successful High School years. High School:
Our high school centers around Truth and Transformation while celebrating our great Tradition. University Christian strives to provide a balanced educational experience in which each child is developed spiritually, academically and socially. Our approach allows students to be well equipped as leaders for the challenges that lie ahead at the college level or within the work force.

University Christian offers three different diploma offerings; Standard, Honors and Scholars (based on credits earned and cumulative GPA). Key Subjects include English, math, science, social studies, fine arts, Spanish, bible, P.E.

Elective classes are available in a wide range of subject areas from Creative Photography to Psychology.

Advanced Placement Courses:
Advanced Placement Courses are offered in all subject areas via Florida Virtual School.

Honors Courses:

We offer a wide range of honors courses including English, English Literature, World History, American History, Chemistry, Economics, Calculus and Pre-Calculus.

College Preparatory Courses:

We offer college prep courses for SAT and ACT.

International Bilingual Montessori School is a private, independent and non-sectarian bilingual (English / Spanish) school located in Miami in Miami-Dade County in south-east Florida.
