Landmark School, Beverly:
Landmark School, located in Prides Crossing, Beverly, Massachusetts, is an American school for educating students in grades 2-12 with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. Landmark School’s mission is to enable and empower students with language-based learning disabilities to realize their educational and social potential through an exemplary school program complemented by outreach and training, diagnosis, and research.
One-to-One Tutorials:
The cornerstone of our successful model is the daily one-to-one tutorial. Students meet and work closely with one tutor for the entire year. A customized tutorial curriculum is designed to remediate the specific language needs of the student with dyslexia, and may encompass such areas as decoding, fluency, phonological awareness, written composition, and organizational skills.
Individualized Approach:
The curriculum addresses the spectrum of needs for students with language-based learning disabilities, such as dyslexia. Through daily tutorials and small classes our goal is to teach students to become independent learners. Landmark designs an individualized program for each high school student and continually assesses his/her needs to determine the appropriate approach to remediation. Academic and campus directors use these assessments to assign specific courses and levels that challenge each student's personal strengths.

Situated in Lexington, Middlesex County MA, Empow Studios After-School Club (ASC) is a unique enrichment program that brings together technology, arts, and play with specially designed after school programs and a range of tech & design camps offered in summer & year-round. Whether your child is programming their first robot or creating a self-watering garden in Minecraft, we nurture their creative talent, build up their imagination, and spark interests that can open up new possibilities, while accommodating individual differences.
ASC is open on early release days and is a designated drop-off-location for the Lexington Public Schools Transportation Department.
In addition to general after school activities, Empow programs include one-day NanoCamps when schools are closed, weekend technology clubs, birthday parties, and private lessons.

The Teddy Bear Club, Newton

The Teddy Bear Club Preschool and Kindergarten located in Newton, Middlesex County, MA, has an international flavor not only because of its French atmosphere and culture, but also thanks to the diversity of students who attend the program. We cater for children from Newton, Aubumdale, Waban, Chestnut Hill, Nonantum and surrounding communities. Over one hundred and fifty students constitute the Teddy Bear Club’s student body. While at least seventy percent of our students are American, many families come from various parts of the world such as: Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru and Russia. Our programs focus on the development of the whole child by enhancing the child\'s cognitive, physical, social and emotional skills. Children explore their world through active play, use of manipulatives, strong academic programming and nurturing guidance. They participate in well-organized, structured, bilingual learning experiences designed to stimulate and promote curiosity, imagination and independence.

Lawrence Academy Language Immersion Program for U.S. Students
Courses / Programs
Lawrence Academy in Groton, (35 miles northwest of Boston) is a traditional New England prep school offering 2-4 week residential Mandarin, Italian, Spanish, and French language Summer Immersion Programs to American students in 7th-12th grades. Study Mandarin, Italian, French, or Spanish while living on campus alongside international students learning English and experiencing American culture. Prior language knowledge is not required for American students.Mornings are spent language classes. In the afternoon, students participate in off-campus and on-campus cultural and sports activities. They practice their language skills with new friends while participating in evening language enrichment activities (skits or talent shows, bowling, mini-golf, etc.). Weekend excursions to Boston, NYC, the beach, or an amusement park allow for additional opportunities to practice language skills and develop lifelong friendships.
Students live in Lawrence Academy dormitories with international roommates and share their meals in the dining hall. This program is a true international cultural immersion experience.
