Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA:

Our vision - to become language teaching and Lithuanian cultural representation institute in Lithuania and the world.

Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA from 1st of August, 2022, invites you to attend Intensive Lithuanian Language and Culture Courses. Online groups for A1, A2, B1 levels are planned.

Course dates: from 1st till 22nd of August.

Duration: 80 acad. hours.

Course structure:

30 acad. hours – direct lectures with the lecturer. Lectures will be held in a small group remotely Mondays to Fridays at 9.00-10.30 (Lithuanian time). On 15th of August there won't be a lesson.

44 acad. hours – Lithuanian language course in online learning platform Moodle. After the course students will be able to study in Moodle additionally for two weeks.

6 acad. hours – virtual cultural programme.

Online and Distance Learning at Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA offers a new way of combining innovative learning and teaching techniques with interaction with your lecturer and fellow students from around the world.

Basic Lithuanian Language Course (A1) will help you take your first steps with Lithuanian and achieve proficiency level A1 (Breakthrough). We will learn together how to:

- communicate in ordinary situations, ask and answer simple questions, tell briefly about ourselves and other people.
- recognise aurally basic phrases about the family, environment, daily life, spare time, etc.;
- read and understand simple texts;
- write short texts (a letter, message or a greeting).

Here we will get familiar with key grammar points essential for understanding and using basic phrases and writing or reading simple texts. While learning new words we will not only broaden our vocabulary but we will also begin to understand people around us gradually. 

The course consists of 10 parts and final test. Every part includes chapters on communication, grammar, and vocabulary. To solidify the material, various exercises have been prepared. Appendixes (grammar tables, the Lithuanian-English and English-Lithuanian vocabulary), will help you to do the exercises.

After this Course student will get official Certificate and he will be able to continue his studies in A2 level.

Lithuanian, English, French, Italian or Russian language courses via Skype is very popular. These courses are relevant to those who live abroad.

By using video conference all language skills are taught: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Language experts will form an individual program and select the most suitable learning method. Together with the teacher student performs a variety of tasks, discuss on different topics of interest.

Lithuanian, English, French, Italian or Russian language courses via Skype:

- student can take lessons where and when it is convenient
- lessons can be held everywhere where is available Internet connection
- individual program is prepared
- duration of the course and schedule depends on student needs
- distant learning method does not differ from face to face teaching

Language and Culture Institute is kindly inviting you to attend various Lithuanian Language Courses in groups. The Institute helps students to prepare for the State Language examination, during the lessons all language skills are taught: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Before the course you can take a free test in order to know your language proficiency level and our institute's lecturers will recommend which group to attend.

Courses are held in Vilnius, Kaunas, Šiauliai.

Individual Lithuanian, English, French, Italian or Russian language courses are for those who travel frequently and can not study in a group. All language skills are taught: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Language experts will form an individual program and select the most suitable learning method. Together with the teacher student performs a variety of tasks, discuss on different topics of interest.

Language and Culture Institute LINGUA LITUANICA organizes Lithuanian Constitution course, which is for those who want to prepare for Lithuanian Constitution exam. The exam can be taken twice a year in the particular institutions. You are welcome to study in the group or individually!

In Lithuanian Constitution course all topics needed for the exam will be discussed.
