Cathedral High School:
Cathedral High School, located in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, is a four-year college preparatory, co-educational regional Catholic high school offering Grade 9-12 college preparatory programs augmented by fine arts, business and technology classes. Inherent in the mission of Cathedral High School are the beliefs that each student is unique and has a need for developing spiritually, intellectually, and physically, that students learn in a variety of ways, and that different students are gifted with different types of intelligences. Cathedral High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Cathedral High School is located in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts. The current enrollment is 500 students who reside in Springfield and 22 surrounding towns in Hampden and Hampshire Counties in Massachusetts and Hartford County in Connecticut. They represent more than 60 parishes and come from nearly 40 different schools.
Traveling South on Route 91:
Take exit 4 (E. Longmeadow, Rte. 83). Go down ramp to light; take a left following signs to Rte. 83. Go straight through next light and turn right up Longhill St. (steep hill). At light at top of hill turn left onto Sumner Ave. Stay on Sumner Ave. for 2.1 miles (ignore signs for Rte. 83). Take a left onto Roosevelt Ave. (Seventh Day Adventist Church on corner). Go through 2 sets of lights (.7 miles), and then take 2nd left onto Surrey Rd. Cathedral will be on your right. The first driveway leads to the back parking lot and the gym, the third driveway leads to the front of the school
Traveling North on Route 91:
Take Mass. Exit 2 and follow Longhill St. to 2nd traffic light. Turn right onto Sumner Ave. Stay on Sumner Ave. for 2.1 miles. Turn left onto Roosevelt Ave. (Seventh Day Adventist Church on corner).
