Huntsman Marine Science Centre, New Brunswick:
The Huntsman Marine Science Centre is located in the historic resort community of St. Andrews by-the-Sea, New Brunswick, Canada. We have been providing insightful, hands-on marine science programs to students of all ages since 1969. We offer, Ocean STEAM™, a program for High School students, ages 15-18, focused on career exploration in the Ocean Economy.

A glimpse of a few Ocean STEAM™ courses:
• Introduction to Marine Biodiversity - Come and explore the Bay of Fundy seashores with students who share your interest in marine life. This hands-on field course will introduce participants to the creatures hiding under the rocks, beneath the seaweed, in the mud, and in the water column. What you collect is what you will study back in the lab. The first part of the course will concentrate on collecting, observing, identifying and classifying diversity of local invertebrates and taking environmental measurements. The second part of the course will ask students to pull the basic information together to get a better understanding of which animals live where and why.
• Marine & Freshwater Environmental Sampling Methods - This hands-on field course will introduce students to the methods that scientists use to study marine and freshwater ecosystems. Students will gain practical experience in a variety of sampling techniques and learn how to document and interpret their findings.
• Exploring Engineering Design for Ocean Applications - This hands-on course will introduce students to the tools they need to understand mechanical movement by focusing on the foundations of simple machines, physics, and engineering design with direct application to ocean industries. Activities will engage students to engineering fields in a fun and interactive style, allowing them to design and innovate with their newly acquired engineering principles.

Courses / Programs
Located in Squamish, BC (one hour from Vancouver), Quest University Canada is Canada's first independent, not-for-profit, nonsectarian university of the liberal arts and sciences. Our Summer Scholars program is a pre-university summer program for exceptional high school students (Grades 10 - 12). The program runs over three weeks and consists of one-week courses on a variety of topics. Students can choose to attend for one, two, or three weeks. The program is available as a residential program or a day camp for local commuters.Our Summer Scholars program is designed to inspire the next generation of thinkers and leaders. You will experience a week of engaging in an academic course in the mornings, and participating in related social and recreational activities in the afternoons and evenings. You will explore the local area through excursions and hikes, choose workshop projects in media including graphic design, photography, and videography, and have optional activities from bouldering to yoga to ultimate frisbee.

Game Creation and Technology Summer Camp provides summer week-long programs for campers ages 7-16 during the months of July to August. Programs are offered in the areas of 2D and 3D Game Creation, Graphic & Web Design, 2D & 3D Animation and Video Editing. The camp runs in the Teens Computer School Office at 4544 Dufferin Street in North York in Northern Toronto. Tickle Creek Theatre in Calgary, Alberta is offering a musical performance summer camp for children aged between 5 and 8 years old. Classes will involve learning songs, fun choreography and staging, while learning the art of making their performance stand out! Our summer camp will be held for three weeks in July. Main Street Community Services in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, is a not for profit community agency. Using a pro-active and cognitive-behavioral approach to learning, our Social Skills Day Camp in Ottawa enables children, ages 5-14, to develop satisfying interpersonal relationships by enhancing skill proficiency in a variety of areas that foster social competency. All staff are university/college educated and trained (including dedicated Developmental Service workers, Social workers and Teachers) with several years of direct experience in this field. The Director, a clinical counsellor and a behavioural specialist are on hand always and have a Master’s level of education.

Skinner Creek ESL Guest Ranch in British Columbia, north of Vancouver, offers 2 unique programs designed for international students, one for ages 7-12 and the other for students ages 13-18. Each student experiences outdoor adventures combined with an intensive English program. Skinner Creek ESL Summer Camp has a cozy atmosphere with a maximum capacity of 16, providing wonderful opportunities for interaction and attention to each student.
Students who come to Skinner Creek have the oppportunity to learn English in an environment entirely different from a regular school setting. English classes are designed to meet the academic and conversational levels of each student.
