Huntsman Marine Science Centre, New Brunswick: The Huntsman Marine Science Centre is located in the busy resort community of St. Andrews by-the-Sea, New Brunswick, Canada. Less than half an hour’s drive from Maine and about an hour from Saint John, NB, we offer a week-long, residential marine biology summer program for students 15-18 years of age which is a fun hands-on introduction to marine biology and some local research projects. Nearby, you’ll discover the diversity of marine mammals, seabirds and invertebrates living in and around the bountiful waters of the beautiful Bay of Fundy—home of the world’s highest tides.
All Things Marine Summer Program (families and friends, 10 years old and over): There is no better maritime classroom than Canada's own Bay of Fundy. Twice a day the tide at the mouth of the Bay rise and fall eight meters stirring up nutrients that have drifted to the ocean floor. Join us as we explore this unique environment and the diversity of life it supports. What we catch and collect is what we will observe more closely in the lab when the tide is high.
