English in Canada - International Summer Camp:
English in Canada - International Summer Camp is offering an English language summer program with a difference for children / teenagers ages 10 to 17 years. Our summer camp is based at the University of Ottawa, close to downtown Ottawa in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario, Canada, approximately 350 km north-east of Toronto. Each summer, over the past 30 years, 400 international students have enjoyed a unique learning experience. Summer camp participants will improve their English in a multicultural, fun setting, and will make new friends.
International English Language Summer Camp:
- 3 or 4-week English language summer camp program at the University of Ottawa for children / teenagers ages 10 to 17 years
- 25 hours of formal English instruction weekly, combined with lots of cultural activities and fun
- Formal instruction in the mornings
- Afternoons are more relaxed with language activities, presentations and games
- Evenings are fully supervised by activity and sports instructors
- Weekend tours included
For many young students this will be the first time away from home. "Destination Canada" takes total care of its participants. They will be in a friendly and safe environment with 24-hour supervision and health care. Students will be picked up from and returned to Ottawa Airport. "Destination Canada" will make sure that all return flights are confirmed.
Weekend Tours:
All weekend tours are included: City Tour, Museum, Parliament Buildings, Upper Canada Village, Montreal. The 4-week course also includes a trip to Omega Park (Canadian wildlife in their natural habitat).
The special tour to the Niagara Falls, Canada's Wonderland and visit to the CN-Tower and Sky Dome enhance the "Total Learning Experience" in Canada. All activities are fully supervised by experienced staff.
The fee includes:
- Flights starting from Frankfurt and Copenhagen are accompanied by tour guides
- Transfer from and to Ottawa airport
- 25 hours per week of formal instruction Monday to Friday
- A comprehensive cultural, sports and activities program
- 24-hour supervision

Located on the shores of Bobs Lake in Westport, near Ottawa, eastern Ontario in east-central Canada, Long Bay offers summer camps specializing in visual arts, drama, music and dance camps for children and teenagers aged 9-16. Our camp program involving drawing, painting, mask making, sculpting, photography, drama/theatre, rock guitar, African dance and creative writing includes instruction from wonderful and talented art teachers who are specialists in their artistic field. Game Creation and Technology Summer Camp provides summer week-long programs for campers ages 7-16 during the months of July to August. Programs are offered in the areas of 2D and 3D Game Creation, Graphic & Web Design, 2D & 3D Animation and Video Editing. The camp runs in the Teens Computer School Office at 4544 Dufferin Street in North York in Northern Toronto. Since 1998, International House Vancouver has offered unique, educational, and fun English language (ESL) summer programs for young learners to suit every need, budget and language ability.
