Camp of Champions:
Camp of Champions, located in Whistler (2 hours north of Vancouver), BC, Canada, is the only English Language (ESL) School in the world where you can learn to snowboard, ski and mountain bike. We offer our programs to students from 12 to 18 years of age.
English as a Shred Language - Nightly 2 hour English classes after a full day of English immersion:
We are the only ESL in the world where you can learn to snowboard, ski and mountain bike, or "Shred" as it is known in slang, from the top pro snowboarders, skiers and mountain bikers you see in magazines and videos. Ride the internationally famous Camp of Champ
ions snowpark, and The Whistler Bike Park and by night attend English class. Making friends while doing the sport you love is the fastest way to learn any language. Unlike traditional ESL’s, the vast majority of our over 1000 students, the people you are roomed with, ride with and spend your day with, are Canadians and Americans. Your day is spent on snow or dirt, with English speaking friends and coaches, followed by 2 hours of classroom study. You will go home with "English Shred Language".
At The Camp of Champions we instruct all levels of snowboarding and skiing, except absolute beginners. You must be able to start, stop and turn. You need the basics before you arrive to get the most out of your camp experience. Camp is all about learning tricks. We do not have any non-park terrain.
The small coaching groups are already pre-arranged before you arrive. The ratio depends on your ability. All the coaching is one-on-one no matter what your group size. Coaching is from 8:00 AM until 3:00PM. That is 3 hours more coaching per day than any camp at Mount Hood.

English in Canada - International Summer Camp is offering an English language summer program with a difference for children / teenagers ages 10 to 17 years. Our summer camp is based at the University of Ottawa, close to downtown Ottawa in the eastern portion of Southern Ontario, Canada, approximately 350 km north-east of Toronto.Each summer, over the past 30 years, 400 international students have enjoyed a unique learning experience. Summer camp participants will improve their English in a multicultural, fun setting, and will make new friends. Our language instructors, as well as activity instructors are university graduates with appropriate degrees. Our classes are limited to 15 students.
For many young students this will be the first time away from home. "Destination Canada" takes total care of its participants. They will be in a friendly and safe environment with 24-hour supervision and health care. Students will be picked up from and returned to Ottawa Airport. "Destination Canada" will make sure that all return flights are confirmed.
