Therapeutic Boarding & Day Programs for Students Ages 11-22 (Grades 6-12)

They range from afterschool study hall, classes at the Burt Wood School of Performing Arts, sports, dances, trips to local attractions and into Boston or Providence for cultural or sporting events and everything in between.

We are located on 12 picturesque acres in a small New England campus close to the towns of Taunton and Middleborough. We are 40 miles from both Providence, R.I. and Boston, MA. Both cities have major airports and Amtrak train stations. We are located in an area close to a wide variety of colleges.

Riverview School is a private co-ed boarding school in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, that serves students ages 11-22 with complex language, learning and cognitive disabilities. Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18.We welcome students from Massachusetts, across the U.S., and students from around the world (TWAI is authorized to issue 1-20's for international students).

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.
TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
