Individualized College Prep Education - Kindergarten through 12th Grade Our curriculum utilizes multi-sensory strategies and specifically chosen support materials to teach, remediate and facilitate each student’s individual learning needs. These strategies are designed to help the child “learn how to learn.”
Paladin Academy students are of an average to above average intelligence but are struggling with needing a smaller classroom setting, language or math specific disabilities, attention deficits, dyslexia or require a multi-sensory instructional technique.
Elementary School (Kindergarten – 4th Grade) For students who are early in their academic career, our multi-sensory instructional methods focus on remediation of the core content areasof language arts and mathematics. Through inclusive assistance in all subject areas, children focus on growing academically and socially in a safe environment.
Middle School (5th – 8th Grade) Within the challenging years leading up to high school, our program focuses on not only remediation but helping the student to develop strategies that will aid in his/her academic success in the future. As individuals move towards graduation, preparation for high school remains a key focus as students will become their own advocates.
High School (9th – 12th Grade) Utilizing a college-bound curriculum, Paladin Academy provides an individualized approach to learning that helps our students continue their high school progression while learning how to be academically successful.
Graduation Options:
Diploma: Featuring a college-bound curriculum track, this standard diploma graduation option follows an individualized academic approach for students seeking to complete school with a standard high school diploma. AP work may be taken in grades 11-12. Dual Enrollment may be approved for 12th grade students.
Certificate of Completion: The focus of this academically challenging graduation option is on preparation for life and independent living after school while enabling students to function at their highest levels. Designed for students academically unable to meet the requirements of a standard diploma, a minority of students utilize this option which was previously known as a special diploma.
Technology Courses: By utilizing and building technological skills, our students are succeeding 21st Century learners. Paladin Academy features extensive assistive technology to aid students throughout their studies at all levels.
