Laurel Hall School, North Hollywood:
Located in North Hollywood CA, just off the Hollywood Freeway, Laurel Hall School & Early Childhood Center provides a relevant and challenging Day School curriculum in a warm family atmosphere to students in Transitional Kindergarten (a bridge between preschool & kindergarten) through 8th Grade. Our Kindergarten, Elementary and Middle School programs prepare students academically and socially to be successful in the high school of their choice. We offer well-rounded programs highlighting art, fine arts, sports, integrated technology, solid core academics, an Early Childhood Center (ECC) and a fantastic range of summer programs.

Challenging & Relevant Day School Curriculum for TK - 8th Grade Students:
For over 65 years, our mission has been “Welcoming all people, Emmanuel Lutheran Church and schools love, teach, and serve through Christ.”  Emmanuel’s ministry is focused on nurturing families in the Christian faith. 

Laurel Hall helps build the foundation of moral and ethical standards through grade-level appropriate religious instruction. They are nurtured in God's word and grace through regular, prayer, study, and worship. Religious education in the elementary grades includes a Lutheran based curriculum that incorporates devotions, weekly stories, discussion and activities.

- Language Arts, Math, Bible, Science & Social Studies, Physical Education, Enrichment classes (music, art, computers, Spanish, Library classes)

Athletics & PE:
Laurel Hall Athletics and PE programs combine learning and enjoyment, providing an environment that allows children to engage in a variety of activities ensuring that they have the opportunity to achieve success. These programs not only teach skills, sportsmanship, cooperation and leadership but also help to build confidence.

Fine Arts:
Our Fine Arts Program exposes students to many musical styles and genres, learning note and rhythm reading. Instrumental opportunities begin in third grade when students learn the recorder. Grades 4-8 may participate in Band, Strings, Handbells, or Guitar.  They have the additional opportunity of Drama, Dance or Glee. 

Music:
Our Musicals are full-scale theatrical productions frequently compared to the best high school productions. Our Fine Arts faculty includes veterans of Broadway stage and network television.

Summer Programs (Grades 1-8)
Our summer programs are designed to expose children in grades 1 through 8 to a variety of specialty and off campus programs and events such as sports, performing arts, off campus adventures, and educational enrichment opportunities.
