Fondazione Studio Marangoni:
Founded in 1991 in the heart of Florence, Italy, Fondazione Studio Marangoni offers three-week photography courses, daily and weekly photography workshops, and academic photography courses to complement your vacation or to start a career as a professional photographer.
The library accommodates more than 4000 books on photography and it is continually enhanced with new purchases.
This is an important tool for in-depth learning for our students, who are constantly encouraged to use this precious resource.
FSM strongly believes in the educational value of black and white chemical printing. The school keeps its darkroom labs in operation, in an opposite trend with other schools.
The darkroom is equipped with 18 enlargers, to print negatives from small to large format.
The digital lab is equipped with 18 Apple iMac provided with post processing software, such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, vital tools to express the creativity of our students.
There are also 3 photo scanners for digitizing negatives and a digital printing lab run by professional printers.
