The Beginning School program is based on the belief that learning at its best is collaborative and interactive. Children learn through play by exploring, building, and creating. Teachers work to create an environment that extends children's understanding of conceptual knowledge and develops both social and physical skills. The teachers carefully design the daily curriculum to nurture each child's mental, physical, and emotional growth.

Students in the Beginning School go on field trips, have library time, visit the woodshop, and participate in physical education and music classes. The classrooms provide a caring atmosphere where children from ages four to six are able to develop to the full potential of their imagination and ingenuity.

The link between freedom and responsibility is a theme that runs through Lower School life. Middle School provides a transition from the homeroom atmosphere of the Lower School to the departmental configuration of the Upper School. The curriculum challenges students with a vigorous academic program combined with an emphasis on creativity and physical and emotional well being.

The core of the Middle School academic program includes studies in English, math, science, and social studies, as well as ongoing instruction in modern language, art, music, and physical education. Frequent field trips, service learning projects, and interscholastic sports programs enhance the regular classroom experience.

Summit View School at The Help Group

The Summit View School in Los Angeles, Southern CA, offers comprehensive elementary, middle and secondary school programs for students with learning differences. An innovative and integrated curriculum, coupled with small class size and high teacher to student ratio, enables students to experience academic success.

The school has two locations - one is located on The Help Group's Culver City campus in Western LA County and the other is located on the Valley Glen Campus in the San Fernando Valley.

Delphian School is a premiere, independent, co-educational day and boarding school located in Oregon in the Pacific Northwest of the USA. We offer fun and challenging summer school programs (for ages 5-18) on our 800-acre campus in the scenic Willamette Valley, 1 hour southwest of Portland, and approximately 4 hours drive from Seattle, Washington.

Our residential and day summer programs offer personalized academics, challenging activities, sports camps, weekend trips, ESL classes, and fun. Boarding students for the Summer Program are accepted from ages 8 through 18; day students can enroll from ages 5 through 18. 4 to 6 week sessions are offered. The Delphian School is nonsectarian.

Summer at Delphian School is always an international experience.
