Children's Village Preschool, Orange:
Children's Village Preschool in Orange in Orange County, approximately 3 miles north of Santa Ana, is a developmental, play based preschool offering programs to children from ages 18 months to 6 years. We strive to challenge children’s creativity and to be aware and respectful of their emotional needs, and to support and facilitate their social development by providing opportunities for children to build positive self-esteem. We welcome and respect the diversity of cultures and encourage every member of our center to share their culture with us. We are facilitators of children’s development fostering their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development for life long learning.

Our philosophy at Children's Village Preschool is based on the belief that children learn best when exposed to a challenging environment that offers a variety of meaningful hands-on activities and experiences. We believe that children should be allowed to explore their surroundings in order to develop a good sense of problem solving and decision-making.

The curriculum, arrangement of furniture and space reflect the interests and needs of the children in the classroom. It is very important to meet the basic needs of children such as, safety, nourishment and rest for them to be able to achieve proper levels of development.

Our Preschool enrolls children 18 months through 6 years. Being potty trained is not a requirement.

Schedules include:
- 2, 3, or 5 - day basis
- 1/2 day (9:00 - 12:00)
- Core Day (8:30 - 3:00)
- Extended Day (anytime 7:00 am - 6:00 pm) programs available.
- We are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday, year round with the exception of Holidays.

Nutrition:
We provide two nutritious snacks, morning and afternoon (included in the tuition). We feel that mealtime is also a time for learning; therefore, children are encouraged to help themselves and each other. Nutrition is also incorporated into the curriculum with cooking in the classrooms. Our weekly snack menu is posted on the parentboard.

For lunch there are two options, one is to pack your own or two we offer a hot lunch program through “CaterTots” that delivers hot lunches to families that order in advance.

- We have a highly motivated professional staff that cares about your child. We also have in our staff a State awarded Mentor Teacher. (she is a mentor teacher that serves students in surrounding colleges)

- We have a warm, country like environment that promotes exploration of nature with an abundance of live animals and plants. Our outside yard is much different than many centers, it is something that you have to come in a see for yourself, the school is located on a 1 acre lot, much larger than most schools.

- Our outside space is a continuous learning environment designed to meet the development needs of children.

- The entire program encourages independence and free choice.

- A structured day designed to enhance the physical, intellectual, social and emotional development of each child.

How to Enroll:
Contact us via the Contact Form on our Contact Page to schedule a tour of the school, it is never too early to do this. Best times for tours are between 9:15 am and 11:00 am, your child is encouraged to join you. Tours can be done at any time, this time slot you will get a chance to see more.

If you decide that this is the school for you and your family:

- Pay a registration fee to confirm your spot / start date and pick up your enrollment packet.
- Fill out your enrollment packet and bring it back with all the required documentation. This is possible to do in one day if space is available for your needed schedule.
