Conveniently located in the heart of NYC, Parsons - New School of Design provides a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Product Design that aims to provide you with the knowledge and technical skills you need to succeed as a professional product designer. Throughout the four-year program, you will be immersed in fabrication processes, materials, aesthetic consideration, and proactive social engagement. You will master the fundamentals of computers, machinery, and tools while learning a variety of research and presentation techniques.

Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Product Design:
The Product Design program is integrated at the sophomore, junior, and senior levels by core design studios that encourage lateral thinking through a range of related skill-building courses in graphic representation and material prototyping. Internships, competitions, intensive projects, collaborations, and international study further prepare you for multidimensional and vibrant careers. The BFA degree is awarded upon completion of 120 credits, as designated by the program. A maximum of 60 credits can be transferred.

The Zeira Insitute is a jewelry making & design school in the heart of the Jewelry / Diamond District of New York City. Located on 47th Street just off 5th Ave, this prestigious mid-town Manhattan location is very convenient for our students.

We offer jewelry design and jewelry making classes to beginners and advanced students. We limit the class size to just five students per class. This ensures personal and immediate attention for each participant. Classes are held in three hour sessions twice daily. Students are required to own some personal tools while the school has tools to share as well.

Once the teacher assesses the level of the student the student can choose a project that he/she would like to do. According to their level, the teacher will guide them along. You will learn how to plan the design of a piece, draw it, and perfect the process of executing it through either carving wax or fabricating metal.
