The Zeira Insitute is a jewelry making & design school in the heart of the Jewelry / Diamond District of New York City. Wax Carving:
Here students will learn how to carve a bezel to a desired stone. Usually we start with an oval or round stone and later on we can go to more difficult shapes.
Wax Bezel Application:
Here students will learn how to apply the bezel into a ring, pendant or earring.
Shank Carving:
Students will learn how to master carving to a desired size and shape, and later on cast it to the desired metal whether it's silver, gold or platinum.
