Bechstein America recently launched the new School of Music at the Bechstein Centre in Manhattan, New York City. The Bechstein Piano Centre is located on 58th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue, one block from Carnegie Hall. We offer piano lessons for children and adults, inspired by the company’s rich musical history and legacy of supporting music education. From tuneful toddlers to enthusiastic elders, everyone can experience the joys of “making music” in a warm, supportive, yet disciplined environment. Our philosophy is that learning to play piano should be fun—but should also encompass the fundamental, traditional learning processes.

Its unique sound breathes freshness and strength into an impressive dynamic power and depth of tone.
