ALPI's Language School has been hosting university study-abroad programs since 2003, and offers a variety of travel-language study programs in the Dominican Republic. Intensive Spanish, Medical Spanish and TEFL are available. All programs include living accommodations in a Dominican homestay or private apartment. You will "live" a slice of Dominican life.

Weekly social outings and activities organized by ALPI take place around the city. The island's most stunning beaches are within one hour's drive and the bustling capital is an hour and a half bus ride to the south. Guided excursions offered include a visit to surrounding mountains, waterfalls, museums, beaches, as well as historical and cultural points of interest.

Homestay living accommodations will make you a member of the host's family and include you in family get-togethers and outings. ALPI's various programs immerse participants in the culture of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Classes take place inside and outside the classroom with frequent outings.
