Cabarete Language Institute (CLI) is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic in the seaside town of Cabarete, the adventure sports capital of the Caribbean. At just a five minute walk to the center of town and the beach, CLI is located in a quiet residential neighborhood at the edge of Cabarete’s tranquil lagoon and the national park that protects it. CLI has four classrooms, a lending library, a kitchen, and a lounge and porch where students can chat with staff and each other, connect to Wi-Fi, or just relax and enjoy a coffee break.

ALPI's Language School has been hosting university study-abroad programs since 2003, and offers a variety of travel-language study programs in the Dominican Republic. Intensive Spanish, Medical Spanish and TEFL are available. All programs include living accommodations in a Dominican homestay or private apartment. You will "live" a slice of Dominican life.Weekly social outings and activities organized by ALPI take place around the city. The island's most stunning beaches are within one hour's drive and the bustling capital is an hour and a half bus ride to the south. Guided excursions offered include a visit to surrounding mountains, waterfalls, museums, beaches, as well as historical and cultural points of interest.
Homestay living accommodations will make you a member of the host's family and include you in family get-togethers and outings. ALPI's various programs immerse participants in the culture of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Classes take place inside and outside the classroom with frequent outings. Pichilemu Institute of Language Studies (PILS) is a unique Spanish language school offering intensive and non-intensive Spanish courses in Chile's surfing capital, Pichilemu.
