ALPI Spanish School:ALPI's Language School has been hosting university study-abroad programs since 2003, and offers a variety of travel-language study programs in the Dominican Republic. Intensive Spanish, Medical Spanish and TEFL are available. All programs include living accommodations in a Dominican homestay or private apartment. You will "live" a slice of Dominican life.

Weekly social outings and activities organized by ALPI take place around the city. The island's most stunning beaches are within one hour's drive and the bustling capital is an hour and a half bus ride to the south. Guided excursions offered include a visit to surrounding mountains, waterfalls, museums, beaches, as well as historical and cultural points of interest.
Homestay living
accommodations will make you a member of the host's family and include you in family get-togethers and outings. ALPI's various programs immerse participants in the culture of the Spanish-speaking Caribbean. Classes take place inside and outside the classroom with frequent outings. Volunteer work which is available to all will brighten the lives of the children and orphans in need, as well as offer you a learning experience you will never forget.Courses / Programs:
Intensive Spanish, Conversational Spanish, Spanish for Medical Professionals, TEFL, volunteer activities at local orphanages, children's hospitals and community centers, as well as social activities with the students and faculty.
Programs are tailored to the needs of the individual or group, and may last from one week to several months. Weekly guided excursions are included.

Study Spanish in a picture-perfect Caribbean setting, experience Dominican cultural life & tradition, and make new friends among students from around the world. The Instituto Intercultural del Caribe (IIC), founded in 1994, is the Spanish Department of the Language & Culture Institute EDASE. With 2 schools, 15 years in business, and more than 60 partners worldwide it is one of the largest institutes for second language courses in the Dominican Republic located on the island of Hispaniola, part of the Greater Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean region. Students can learn Spanish at IIC in Santo Domingo or in Sosua or divide their course between both locations.The Institute offers mini-group courses and tailor-made private classes all year round with highly qualified and experienced Spanish teachers. IIC intensive courses are accredited in Germany for educational leave (Bildungsurlaub). Preparation courses for the DELE exams, specialized Business Spanish programs are available. PILS - Spanish School at the Beach

Pichilemu Institute of Language Studies (PILS) is a unique Spanish language school offering intensive and non-intensive Spanish courses in Chile's surfing capital, Pichilemu. In addition, we offer study abroad semester programs and college credit programs for US and international students. Pichilemu is located on the rural coast of Central Chile and is approximately 3.5 hours by bus from the capital, Santiago which has an international airport.At PILS our students have the small school advantage - each group and private class is specifically designed for those students. Cabarete Language Institute (CLI) is located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic in the seaside town of Cabarete, the adventure sports capital of the Caribbean. At just a five minute walk to the center of town and the beach, CLI is located in a quiet residential neighborhood at the edge of Cabarete’s tranquil lagoon and the national park that protects it.
