Kaplan International English:
Kaplan International offers summer and year-round English courses in Australia for adults and juniors / teens. Our seven English language schools are located in Sydney (Sydney city centre and Manly) in New South Wales, Melbourne in Victoria, Brisbane and Cairns in Queensland, Adelaide in South Australia, and Perth in Western Australia. Teens and juniors (ages 12-17) can take our English for Young Learners program at our Cairns school.

Vacation English Course:
All of our English schools in Australia offer the Vacation English course which is the ideal option for students who wish to combine English classes with a holiday in Australia.

It is our least intensive course option, helping you to improve your English language skills through 20 General English lessons per week but leaving you with plenty of free time for sightseeing and leisure activities.

The Kaplan International Colleges optional activities program will give the opportunity to explore the highlights of your host country in your spare time.

The English classes are designed for students aged 16 or more with elementary, intermediate or advanced levels of English. The average class size is 12 and the maximum class size is 15.

The Vacation English course is right for you if:
- You want to combine English classes with a holiday
- You want to choose how long you want to study, with courses from 2 weeks to 52 weeks
- You want to study in a suitable class for your English level
- You want to practise your new English skills whilst out sightseeing or during organised social activities
- You want to receive a certificate at the end of your course

Brisbane is Queensland’s dynamic capital and one of Australia’s fastest growing cities. The city’s delightful mix of modern skyscrapers, historical buildings and parks is set in the dramatic natural surroundings of nearby mountains, rainforests and beaches.

Students can relax in the Brisbane Botanical Gardens, visit the beautiful Forest Park and the famous Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. For the more adventurous, we have a wide variety of water sports, rock climbing at Kangaroo Point and the Story Bridge Adventure Climb. Culture enthusiasts will enjoy the city’s thriving live music scene, theatres and museums.

Cairns:
Cairns is a perfect destination located in north Queensland where students experience tropical weather all year round. Few places can rival the stunning scenery of rainforest meeting sparkling coral reefs. Cairns is a modern, sophisticated city with idyllic parkland and lagoon areas where students can relax and swim.

The city caters to all tastes with international cuisine restaurants, markets for souvenirs and over 100 adventure tours including diving, sky diving, rafting and much more. Cairns is a major tourist destination and all international visitors immediately feel welcome and at home in the city.

Located on the Sunset coast, Perth is loved for its blue skies and white beaches. The city caters to a variety of tastes with its exquisite seafood, bustling street markets and excellent range of shops selling everything from traditional souvenirs through to designer clothes and precious gemstones. You can also expect a very warm welcome from Perth locals who are renowned for their friendliness and hospitality.

The college is also only a short walk from Kings Park, the city’s premier location with many recreational facilities, beautiful picnic spots, jogging paths, native flora, fauna and a new tree-top walk.

Sydney City Centre:
For the perfect mix of stunning surroundings, offering beach life, a thriving cultural scene and the excitement of a vibrant metropolis - Sydney is the city to be in. At the end of a day of classes, sit back and drink a cappuccino at a harbour front café and when the weekend arrives, head for Bondi where ‘Sydneysiders’ soak up the sun and enjoy world-class surfing.

The modern, architecturally designed, art deco college building is located in the centre of the city on the south side near downtown shops and Chinatown. The 6-storey building has a beautifully designed interior and exterior.

We also have another Sydney college situated in the idyllic surroundings of Manly, Sydney’s favourite beach resort. Near to the Pacific Ocean and the iconic Sydney Harbour with its beautiful National Park, the college is ideally placed for students to enjoy all that Sydney has to offer, including Shelly and Manly Beaches within walking distance.

A wide range of water sports is available all year round including surfing, sailing and diving. Those who prefer to keep their feet on dry land can enjoy beach volleyball, tennis, golf, climbing and many other pursuits. Manly also offers magnificent restaurants and cafés, pubs and clubs, so all bases are covered.
