Southminster School, Missouri City:
Located in Missouri City, within the Houston–Sugar Land–Baytown metropolitan area in Ford Bend County (and partly in Harrison County), Texas, Southminster School an accredited, private, Christian school dedicated to developing children's minds, spirits and bodies. We provide a preschool program for children from eighteen months to four years and an elementary school program from pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. Preschool (18 months to four years):
Our program seizes upon a child's natural curiosity and interests to build a strong educational foundation in a fun, positive, age-appropriate, Christian environment. The students are provided with opportunities for multi-sensory enrichment, addressing their different abilities and learning styles.
Low student-to-teacher ratios ensure a safe and nurturing environment. The children attend Music and Movement classes daily, Chapel bi-weekly, utilize classroom computers, and visit the school library bi-weekly or monthly, depending on age. On-campus field trips and after-school activities further enrich their learning experience.
Elementary (Prekindergarten through 5th grade):
Southminster's accelerated elementary curriculum utilizes Spalding Phonics, EXCEL Math, and the Accelerated Reader Program. Enrichment and resource opportunities are provided to meet the strengths and weaknesses of each student. As a result, our elementary students s
core in the top 10% on national standardized tests.
Spanish, Music, Physical Education, Computer, Library and Science Discovery Center are also part of the weekly curriculum for our students. Chapel,Christian Education and community service projects provide ways for the children to learn about Christ's love and teachings while developing their own personal relationship with Him.
Enrichment:
Extracurricular Activities are offered to our school families as an additional service in a convient, safe environment. Activities include Craft Club, Tumblebees Bus, Kid Fit, Dance, and Karate.

Located in Fort Worth, Tarrant County in north-central Texas, The Anderson Private School for the Gifted, Talented and Creative was founded to serve the unique needs of intellectually, academically and creatively precocious children. The school is non-graded and accepts children ages four to sixteen. Lesson planning is individualized for each child with much of the instruction offered on a one-on-one basis.Since our curriculum is non-traditional, students are in different levels in different subjects. Immaculate Conception School (ICS), located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is a private catholic school serving Pre-K - 8th Grade. ICS, originally named St. Cecilia's, began in February 1916 with mass in a parishioner's home. The school was opened in September 1952 as a four grade school, staffed by four teachers furnished by the sisters of St. Benedict, of Covington, Louisiana. ICS serves an average of two hundred and fifty students, grades PK-8. Through the years our faculty has been honored with educators from five different countries and four religious orders. Anna May Daulton taught school in the Mansfield school district for 30 years and passed away on June 1, 2006. Anna May Daulton Elementary opened August 2006.
