Anna May Daulton Elementary School, located in Grand Prairie, Texas, is an Elementary school offering Pre-K through 4th grade programs. Anna May Daulton taught school in the Mansfield school district for 30 years and passed away on June 1, 2006. Anna May Daulton Elementary opened August 2006. Mrs. Daulton was born Feb. 10, 1918, in Dallas, the daughter of Carl B. and Beulah Blevins Howard. She graduated from North Texas State Teachers College in Denton in 1939, with a degree in Elementary Education.

Formal Tests:
State-mandated testing will be administered during the school year. The test results of the individual students are made available soon after the results are received.

Students in kindergarten through second grade will participate in the Texas Primary Reading Inventory (T.P.R.I.). Students in grades three and four will take the Texas Assessment of Knowledge & Skills (TAKS) in the spring semester. These tests are a diagnostic tool to be used for classroom instruction and assist in determining individual student skills.

Test results will be reported to students and parents. Parents may review an assessment test that has been released by the Texas Education Agency.

Certain students, such as students with disabilities and students with limited English proficiency may be eligible for exemptions, accommodations, or a deferment. For more information, see the principal, counselor, or special education director.

We offer art and drawing classes for children of three years upwards based on the acclaimed Monart Method.
