Columbia International School:
Columbia International School is located at a campus in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Tokyo, eastern Japan. Tokorozawa (population 325,000) is located in the west of Tokyo with convenient access to central Tokyo. The main entrance is surrounded by beautiful trees and captures the natural essence of Tokorozawa. Our bus system as shown in the center shuttles students back and forth between the school and either Higashi Tokorozawa station or Tokorozawa station.
The campus has two buildings and two playing fields. The main building (built in 1998) houses 10 classrooms, a science lab, a health room, a library, a cafeteria, offices, and a guidance room.
The Library Resource Center currently offers a selection of more than 4000 fiction and non-fiction books. The school subscribes to several magazines suitable for the age range, interests and English ability of students. A new building (built in 2000) houses 3 classrooms, 2 multipurpose-rooms, a computer lab, a gymnasium, boys and girls changing rooms, shower rooms, and offices.
The nearest station is Higashi-Tokorozawa on the JR Musashino-line (44 minutes from Tokyo station, 37 minutes from Shibuya station, 64 minutes from Yokohama station).
