Sparks:
Sparks is a film school provides creative workshops where children and teenagers (aged 7 - 16 years) learn all about film-making. We run workshops in 3 UK locations - Balham in south London, Wilmslow in Cheshire and Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. Our workshops include Film-making, Animation and Acting for Camera, as well as School Holiday Workshops and more.

Film-making Workshops: 
Our workshops help to build confidence, develop teamwork and social skills, and inspire young imaginations. We provide workshops in the following locations for children and teenagers (aged 7 - 16 years):


Balham London:

- Saturday Film-making Workshops, termly, 11am - 1pm:
Each Saturday our crew members meet up to work in peer groups on their own film projects as well as take part in specialist workshops such as Special Effects, Chroma-key (Blue/Green Screen), Combat for Screen, Prosthetic make-up, editing techniques and even more. Saturdays are a great opportunity for young filmmakers looking to develop and hone their camera and directing skills, as well as work creatively and make friends with other young people with a passion for films.

- Easter Workshop, 3-day:
Three days packed with stop-motion animation, special effects, stunts and much more to bring our Superhero films into action.

- Summer School Workshop, 5-day:
You'll learn all about short film production including acting, camera operation, directing, editing and much more as you storyboard, shoot and star in a summer smash hit film. At the end of summer, your film will be shown in a special premier-style screening event for cast, crew, family and friends.

- Acting for Camera Workshop:
We'll soon be launching our first workshop series in Acting for Camera. These sessions will run for 2 hours after school each week, for members aged between 7 and 16. Unlike most acting classes, this series will specialise in acting-for-screen and help our members to develop the performance skills and confidence required for acting and presenting in front of camera for film and TV.

- Animation Workshop:
We can't wait to launch first workshop series devoted to Animation. Our Animation Club will run for 2 hours after school each week, for members aged between 7 and 11, where members will get stuck in to lots of craft modelling, designing, drawing, animating, sound recording and more as they create their own animated sketches and stories.


Wilmslow, Cheshire:

- Easter Workshop, 3-day:

- Easter Workshop, 5-day:
Boost your performance skills and learn the art of film-making in this multimedia workshop. Alongside developing new skills in acting for camera, you’ll also discover how to direct, camera operate, create special effects, edit and much more as you devise a multimedia production for friends and family.


Additional Programs:

- Film-making Party Packages (ages 7-14 years):
Our exclusive filmmaking parties help to mark special occasions. Got a birthday coming up? Make it one to remember, and watch again and again with a filmmaking party!

* Party Package (Duration: 2 hours):
Make a Birthday trailer to announce your special day! Our workshop directors take guests through the process of filmmaking as they produce a movie trailer to announce the birthday. Guests have the chance to direct, camera operate, act, clapperload, create special fx and more. You'll receive a copy on DVD, and we can also provide a personalised cake.

* Deluxe Party Package (Duration: 3 hours):
Guests make their own short film around a theme of their choice. Our workshop directors help them with developing their story, storyboarding, directing, shooting, and they each have the chance to star in the film as their own character creations. At the end of the party, parents can come back to watch a rough cut of the film in a special 'Cast and Crew' screening. Each child receives a copy of the film on DVD and we can provide a personalised cake.
- Schools' and Corporate Film-making Workshops:
* For schools: Studio Film School runs a range of curriculum focused filmmaking workshops especially tailored for school groups. Schools can enhance your pupils' curricular studies with practical filmmaking activities, or provide an engaging extra-curricular activity to support the school day from our range of schools workshops.

Each of our sessions develops core skills of teamwork, literacy, confidence, and creative expression. We're happy to tailor workshops to fit with existing schemes of work or recommended texts and we also offer a bespoke project service. Workshops can be tailored to cater to specific curricular requirements or class topics

* For corporate: Studio Film School also offers workshops for a range of corporate partners, including charities, children's organisations and leisure companies.

Vivace Theatre School is a Glasgow based Youth Arts Academy, providing first class training in Acting, Singing, Dance, Musical Theatre, Early Stages Performance and Drama School Audition Preparation for young people aged 2-18yrs. We run exciting performing arts term-time courses, summer schools and education projects in nursery, primary and secondary schools throughout Scotland and since opening in March 2003, have quickly established a reputation for quality, value and above all fun.
