Travel Sport Camp:
Currently, Travel Sport Camp and its affiliate EduKick, host schools and camps in 11 different countries on four continents and continues to grow on a global scale. Travel Sport Camp offers summer sports camps for boys and girls from 10 years old in Bolton, a large town in Greater Manchester, Lancashire, in the North West of England. Our camps are open to children and teens from abroad and also from within the UK.
Multi-Sport Summer Camp:
Offers swimming, volleyball, tennis, and basketball. The program is for boys and girls ages 10 to 19, and combines a daily English language course with a sports training program.
Program Overview:
The modern Reebok Stadium and Bolton Arena sport and leisure complex is an ideal location for our student to learn and train. The program focuses on improving English skills, working on your fitness and technical sport skills while making plenty of friends from all over the world.
The Travel Sport Camp affiliated Language Academy (accredited by Association of British Language Schools - ABLS), provides a unique and exciting, fun-packed residential program of multi-sport activities and English language instruction.
Academic & Sports Instruction:
Students have 3 hours of English language study daily...with all classes conducted in "executive suites" within the Reebok Stadium.
Technical Sports Training: Students have 2 hours of training per day for 3 days per week with a variety of competitive matches mixed in throughout. The coaches are committed to the development of each individual player's skills so that they achieve the best possible level of personal ability during the time permitted by the course.
All participants will be expected to take an active role in the training sessions so it is important that students have a good level of fitness before they attend the camp.
Theoretical aspects: Students will also learn about anatomy, physiology, nutrition and sports psychology. These important lessons contribute to the students' study of the practical elements of the game.
Group & Social Activities:
At least three nights per week our staff provides a full social program of evening activities. In addition, one full-day and one half-day excursion is provided per week. Activities offered will include ten pin bowling, a visit to the cinema, film evening, quiz competition, friendly matches against local teams and barbecue parties, etc.
Accommodation:
Our staff director hand-picks local families to host our students (Homestay). Students will share private rooms with up to three other students and be served three meals per day. Host families are carefully screened and provide excellent guardianship.
