Jersey Language Adventure:
Jersey Language Adventure (JLA) is a small family-run English language and adventure school based on the beautiful island of Jersey in the Channel Islands, which are located in the English Channel between the south coast of the United Kingdom and northern France. We are a boutique English school, run by passionate teachers who are fascinated by language and learning. Each of our students receives a warm and personalised welcome, first-class English tuition, and an outstanding programme of activities to encourage and stimulate learning.

The small size of our English school enables us to work with the very finest Jersey host families. We choose our families based on their friendliness, supportive nature, and warm homely welcome. Our families are dedicated to making your stay in Jersey as enjoyable and rewarding as possible. They are committed to helping you achieve your goals in English and will support and encourage you every step of the way.

We work closely with our families, to ensure that our students are comfortable and relaxed at home. We spend time making sure that our students are placed with appropriate families where they feel happy, are confident to communicate, and have the opportunity to become ʻone of the family.

- Remarkable progress in English is possible in a short space of time. At JLA, we maximise improvements by following a few golden rules:

- Our class sizes never exceed five students per teacher. Each and every student receives the support and encouragement they require to achieve their goals.

- In our English lessons we use interesting and stimulating material, relevant to the learner. Our students remain involved and focused during their lessons.

- Our students are actively encouraged to talk, both during the day, and at home. Students gain confidence in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

- Our unique combination of classroom lessons and adventurous outdoor activities ensures students develop fluency by practicing speaking and listening skills in a range of different situations.

- Language input continues outside of the classroom. Students naturally increase vocabulary, improve accuracy and deepen their understanding of the language.

- Our courses bring people together. United by a desire to learn and through sharing a variety of new challenges, students learn from each other, whilst enjoying wonderful new life experiences.

- Rock Climbing: Test strength, agility, and trust, as you gain altitude scaling Jerseyʼs breathtaking sea cliffs. Feel a sense of freedom and appreciate Jerseyʼs wide open seascapes from a brand new perspective.

- Coasteering: Coasteering is one of our favourite activities. Traverse the coastline and jump from cliffs into the sea. Swim into caves and through tunnels and allow the tide to float you along. Visit secret beaches and coves and take a dip in our ʻoctopus poolʼ. Find some fresh seafood! A wonderful adventure for all ages.

- Surfing: With the right surf board, a positive attitude and plenty of energy, surfing is accessible to everyone. We guarantee you will get to your feet! Once back on the beach, youʼll be rewarded with hot sausages and cold drinks from one of our legendary beach barbecues as we all sit together to watch the sun go down. A unique and special Jersey Language Adventure experience.

JLA est une école d’anglais novatrice offrant de stimulants cours d'anglais pour tous âges et toutes aptitudes. JLA offre une expérience éducative exceptionnelle en combinant des cours d'anglais et des activités de plein air audacieuses. Les étudiants vivent en compagnie d'une adorable famille d’accueil locale et réalisent ainsi une complète immersion dans la culture anglaise. Tous les repas sont inclus et dégustés avec votre famille d’accueil.

L'apprentissage s'organise en petits groupes de 2 à 4 étudiants afin d'assurer une progression optimale. Durant l’après midi, les activités sont encadrées par votre professeur d'anglais ce qui permet une pratique illimité en anglais dans un cadre relaxant et stimulant. JLA peut accueillir un maximum de 8 étudiants par semaine. Chaque élève reçoit un enseignement de haute qualité dispensé par des professeurs d'anglais inspirés
et expérimentés.

JLA est ouvert toute l'année.

JLA est une école d’anglais spécialisée, dirigée par des enseignants passionnés et fascinés par les langues et l’apprentissage. Chaque étudiant reçoit un accueil chaleureux et personnalisé, un enseignement de l’anglais de premier ordre et un programme d’activités hors du commun afin d’encourager et de stimuler cet apprentissage. En inspirant et en focalisant l’attention de nos étudiants nous parvenons à d’excellents résultats. Apprendre en notre compagnie est rapide, efficace et très amusant!
Des progrès significatifs en anglais sont possibles en un court laps de temps. Avec JLA, nous maximisons les progrès en appliquant quelques règles d’or :

-La taille de nos classes n’excède jamais plus de 4 étudiants par professeur. Chaque étudiant reçoit le support et l’encouragement nécessaire pour parvenir à son but.
-Durant nos cours nous utilisons d’intéressantes et stimulantes informations, qui donnent du sens à l’étudiant. Nos élèves restent concentrés et focalisés pendant leurs cours.
-Nos élèves sont activement encouragés à parler, aussi bien pendant la journée que dans leur maison. Ils gagnent en confiance grâce à une atmosphère amicale et encourageante.
-La combinaison unique en son genre de cours et d’activités de plein air permet aux élèves de développer une fluidité dans leur élocution en parlant et en écoutant l’anglais dans diverses situations données.
-Le processus d’apprentissage continue en dehors des classes. Les étudiants élargissent leur vocabulaire naturellement, en améliorant la précision et approfondissant ainsi leur compréhension de la langue.
-Notre école rassemble les personnes. Unis par le désir d’apprendre et au travers le partage de nouveaux défis, les étudiants apprennent entre eux, en bénéficiant de nouvelles et magnifiques expériences de vie.

Eine kleine Englischschule bietet Englischkurse für alle Altersgruppen und alle Stufen an. JLA bietet eine außergewöhnliche Ausbildungserfahrung an, die Englischunterrichtsstunden mit abenteuerlichen Outdooraktivitäten kombiniert. Die Schüler wohnen bei einer netten Gastfamilie aus Jersey und erfahren volle Vertiefung in die englische Sprache und Lebensart zu Hause. Alle Mahlzeiten sind inbegriffen und werden mit Ihrer Gastfamilie genossen. Das Lernen findet in kleinen Gruppen von 2-4 Schülern statt, um maximalen Fortschritt sicherzustellen. Die Aktivitäten werden am Nachmittag von Ihrem Englischlehrer geleitet, was unbegrenztes Üben der englischen Sprache in einer entspannten und anregenden Atmosphäre erlaubt. JLA nimmt höchstens 8 Schüler pro Woche auf. Jeder Schüler bekommt hohen Qualitätsunterricht von erfahrenen und begeisterten Lehrern.
