Summer English Courses in England for Children & Teenagers

XUK English Summer Language School, Dauntsey's:
Situated in one of the finest boarding schools in the UK, XUK English provides quality residential summer English language programmes for students ages 8 -17. XUK cater for beginner to advanced level students from around the world, and children can attend for anywhere between 1 and 5 weeks.

Residential Summer English Language Programme for Students Ages 8 -17:

Features include:

- 15 hours English language tuition per week
- Maximum group size: 12
- Intensive English classes available
- Fun afternoon activities (sports, art, cookery, dance, drama...)
- Cultural trips to Bath or Salisbury

Morning Lessons:
Students take English lessons in the morning (15 hours per week) with our experienced and qualified English teachers, with optional extra intensive English lessons in the afternoon. On 5 mornings of the week there are 3 hours of lessons and these are split into two 90 minute sessions with different teachers.

Every week teachers re-assess each child to see if they have made sufficient progress to move up to the next class. At the end of the course, every child receives a certificate and report to record their achievement. 

Optional Intensive Afternoon Lessons:
Students who just can’t get enough of the morning English lessons can choose to take Intensive English Classes in the afternoon. These are small discussion groups designed to help students develop their spoken fluency and listening skills. 

Afternoon Activities:
In the afternoon, children participate in fun activities to practice their English socially. These include sports, art, cookery, dance, drama, sports and much more.

Cultural Trips:
Throughout their stay at XUK English all students will go on study and sightseeing trips to Bath or Salisbury. Our goal is to improve your child’s English and for them to enjoy every minute of the experience.
