At our centrally located campus in Blackburn, Lancashire, the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School offers the finest quality independent education for boys and girls, ages 3-18. We provide a comprehensive education package from Infant School at age 3 all the way up to Sixth Form at age 18. Founded in 1509, Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School has now been educating the young people of Lancashire for more than five centuries. Queen Elizabeth’s is an ideal setting for boys and girls to learn and offers them a good preparation for university, and for life.
- Beyond the National Curriculum
The broad academic curriculum offered at QEGS goes well beyond the National Curriculum by which, as an independent school, we are not restricted. While we place a particular emphasis on English and Mathematics, we also believe in the virtue of rigorous science courses which, along with the study of at least one Modern Language up to GCSE, remain compulsory elements of our curriculum.

Our pupils are encouraged to represent the school in the community in a variety of ways and QEGS also offers a wealth of opportunities for boys and girls to pursue their interests and develop their individual skills, whether they be sporting or cultural.

Hampton Court House, located in Surrey (35 minutes from London), South East England, is an independent co-educational school offering programs to children from Nursery (3.5 year olds) to Year 11 (16 year olds). Most children who come to Hampton Court House stay on to take GCSEs. Those who do wish to move on earlier are fully prepared for the 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance and scholarship examinations of the leading boys’ and girls’ schools. Hampton Court House was founded 8 years ago. Already we have grown into a school of almost 200 pupils. So we are a new school and yet a traditional school. Vivace Theatre School is a Glasgow based Youth Arts Academy, providing first class training in Acting, Singing, Dance, Musical Theatre, Early Stages Performance and Drama School Audition Preparation for young people aged 2-18yrs. Rochester Independent College, in the County of Kent, just east of London, offers a distinctive alternative to a conventional sixth form and a stepping stone between school and university. Established in 1984, we accept day students from the age of 11. Boarding is available for A-level students and Year 11 students on GCSE courses who are aged 16 or older.
Students come to us from all over the UK and the world, as well as the local area. There are no bells ringing, no uniforms and everybody is on first name terms. The College has an atmosphere closer to university than school where students are treated as young adults.
