TESOL International Mexico:
We are located in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, one of the most welcoming and hospitable towns in Mexico, in the highlands of the southern Mexican state of Chiapas. The TESOL International Mexico four-week TESOL/TEFL certified teacher training course consists of 120 hours of practical and theoretical input, observation of experienced teachers, supervised self-directed study and reflection and hands-on teaching practice.

Whether you would like a career shift, to broaden your professional skills, to volunteer more effectively or would just like to spend a pleasurable and productive month in beautiful San Cristóbal de las Casas learning new skills, our TEFL/TESOL course offers you all of this. Facilities:
As a student at TESOL International Mexico, you will have free access to computer facilities, Internet and WIFI. There is a comprehensive library with textbooks, reference books and supplementary teaching resources, such as games, wall charts, etc.
For lesson preparation, we have an onsite copying and printing service. We also have a beautiful garden where you can relax, mix with the staff and students, study or enjoy some delicious local organic coffee and a variety of teas from our in-house cafeteria

Surrounded by mountains and at 7,200 feet, San Cristóbal is noted for its well-preserved colonial architecture as well as many cultural jewels such as churches, galleries, street art, independent cinemas, museums, workshops, and artisans’ markets.
There is a wide range of shops, sidewalk cafés, bakeries, bars and restaurants that help create a laid-back, bohemian atmosphere with a magical touch. It is home to the largest indigenous market in northern America, where the Maya people from surrounding villages come daily, in their colorful traditional clothing, to sell fruit, vegetables and crafts. The Pacific Ocean, the tropical rainforest and Guatemala are all reachable within a few hours.
