Our TEFL course in Mexico is in historic Chiapas, the southernmost state in the country, and bordered by the states of Tabasco to the north, Veracruz to the northwest, and Oaxaca to the west. To the east Chiapas borders Guatemala, and to the south - the Pacific Ocean.
Homestay Accommodation:
The Mexico TEFL course training center offers free home stays with local families, all within walking distance of the TEFL training center. All home stays offer private bedrooms and bathrooms, with access to the family kitchen so you can cook for yourself if you wish. Internet access is available for a one off payment of 250 pesos, however, meals and laundry services are not included.

• International Language Institute (ILI) offers an 8-week TESOL / TEFL certificate program at our school in Washington DC. • This comprehensive ESL teacher training course has a practical focus and will equip you with the skills you will need to teach English as a Second Language in the United States or abroad.
• The course is offered every 8 weeks, year round. In addition to our TEFL / TESOL certification course, we offer a range of English courses to students from around the world.

Teachers College Mexico City is an autonomous, self-governing institution, founded in 1990, and was the first institution in Mexico to implement 100% distance learning academic programs in English. Our Teachers Academic Program has been accepted by the SEP (Secretaría de Educación Pública) since 1990.
The SEP requires that all individuals who wish to teach English as a Second Language in both private and public schools in Mexico have earned their teaching credentials through a 200-hour Teachers Certificate.
