LUISS Business School, Rome:
The LUISS Business School is a division of LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, Italy that is recognised worldwide as a knowledge hub for postgraduate studies in business & management. We offer an International Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program which is 15 months in duration and taught through English to students from all over the world. Other graduate business degree programs taught through English include an Aviation MBA (12 months) and a Master in Corporate Finance (11 months).

Foundations and Prerequisites:
The introductory module concerns few subjects, with the purpose of refreshing or introducing the basic knowledge and skills required to successfully face the core programme.
Through this module, participants will learn how to use financial statements, how to take business decisions based on data interpretation and how to make analytical, strategic, and operational choices.
This module consists of the following pre-courses:
•Fundamentals of Accounting
•Fundamentals of Business Statistics
•Fundamentals of Mathematics
Core Courses:
The core curriculum develops the conceptual, analytical and planning tools, techniques and methodologies needed to take a systematic approach to understanding and solving complex management problems linked to the basic functions of an organization and related competitive scenarios.
The programme is made up of 8 areas, with 29 courses for a total of 720 hours. This offers greater flexibility and makes it possible to focus on the essential teaching goals.
The core curriculum develops the following areas:

2. Strategy and organization
3. Marketing
4. Finance
5. Accounting and Control
6. Operations and Technology
7. Managerial Skills
8. Methods
Concentrations:
In order to enrich their curriculum, students must select concentrations ranging from specialized topics to industry and country-specific knowledge.

Industry specialization:
- Creative Industries

- Doing Business in Europe
Field Project:
During the final months of the programme, participants work directly on business and management topics in order to carry out field projects in functional or entrepreneurial areas.
They consist of:
•a project work within prominent companies dealing with issues on functional or entrepreneurial areas;
•a research project on subjects in cooperation with the iMBA faculty or the Scientific Committee;
•an entrepreneurial project, start-up and running of new firms acting in the business industry.
Field projects can be developed individually or by a team of two or more students.
