Alexandria Institute:
Situated in the Nea Ionia area, just 20 minutes north of central Athens, Alexandria Institute provides Greek language courses for beginner to advanced level students. Alexandria Institute also organises Greek language and culture courses in Andros, Paros, Chios, Methoni, and Lesvos as well as on-line lessons via Skype.

These programs are designed for students who want to make rapid progress in their Modern or Ancient Greek language and deepen their knowledge of Greece and its culture.

It offers an intensive language course for beginners, intermediate and advanced level students in 40 hours, divided into 10 days of instruction and includes grammar, reading, speaking, writing and provides also an insight into Greek culture and civilization.

Special courses of Modern Greek Literature and Culture and of Ancient Greek are offered upon request.Our Greek teachers are qualified, specialized and experienced in teaching Greek as a foreign language. 

Moreover the course is accompanied by lectures, activities and various tours that illuminate the contemporary Greek culture.

Our courses are open to anybody. All people who love the Greek language and culture are welcome, regardless of age, nationality, job or education. Every year people from all over the world, with different interests and experiences, embark on their own unique experience at the Alexandria Institute.
