Hellenic American Union:
The Hellenic American Union in Thessaloniki & Athens, Greece, is a public-service institution with an international focus and strong community commitment, dedicated to providing opportunities for a diverse range of audiences to encounter and benefit from innovative educational programs and cultural events. The Modern Greek Language Program has been offering courses in Modern Greek to foreign students in Athens since 1957. Since then, every year, more than 800 students from approximately 75 countries join the Program. Among other services, the Program also offers methodology courses for teachers.
The Hellenic American Union is located in Thessaloniki and Athens, Greece. Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece, and is served by Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport (AIA) located 35 km (22 miles) east of Athens.
