Certificate III in Hospitality (Commerical Cookery):
The TAFE delivered Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) provides the skills and knowledge to work in commercial, industrial or retail catering industries, patisseries, commercial kitchens and restaurants.
Students will participate in the development of commercial cookery skills and knowledge which will include health and hygiene practices in the kitchen, food storage and safety, planning and control for menu based catering and buffets.
This course provides strategies to develop these skills in a variety of kitchen operations, as the competency standards are common to many areas of the hospitality industry.
Advanced Diploma of Hospitality:
The AICL delivered Advanced Diploma of Hospitality is for individuals who aspire to be restaurant owners /operators, managers those employed in senior management positions. The course focuses on planning and initiation skills across a broad range of managerial requirements. Ability to developbusiness plans; recruit, manage and monitor staff; financial management; custotions and marketing
is developed. Responsibility and coordination for individuals and teams and autonomy is achieved for complex applications.
Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications:
The Certificate IV in Electronics and Communications provides the practical skills and knowledge in audio/ video, data system and as well as communication aspects of electronic such as transmitters, communications medium/channel and noise reduction.
Students learn both theoretical knowledge and practical skills concurrently through interactive lectures and practical tutorials. Successful graduates will be able to work in general communications which includes installing, maintaining and repairing telecommunication equipment and applications in homes, businesses, telephone exchange or other network sites.
Advanced Diploma of Electronic Technology:
The Advanced Diploma of Electronic Technology provides students with competencies in designing and validating/evaluating electronics and /or communication equipment and systems and providing technical advice /sales.
Upon successful completion, graduates will be able to obtain a position in the area of solving problems in complex multiple path circuits, designing and developing electronics/computer systems projects, writing specifications for electronics and communication engineering projects and supervising and co-ordinating work activities in the workplace.
Certificate III in Printing and Graphic Arts:
The aim of this course is to allow learners the opportunity to work in the graphic prepress sector, to acquire and apply competencies required for safe, effective work practices at AQF level 3. The course has been designed to provide a balanced program of training in practical, technical and theoretical desktop publishing skills used by the graphic arts and related industries.
Diploma of Printing and Graphic Arts (Printing):
This course is designed to provide the required skills and knowledge needed to work in publishing and graphic arts industries. Student will gain skills in all aspects of digital image design, manipulation, and assembly and management practices.
Certificate III in Children's Services:
This qualification covers workers who use organizational policies, procedures and individual children’s profiles to plan activities and provide care to children, facilitating their leisure and play and enabling them to achieve their developmental outcomes.
Diploma of Children's Services:
The Diploma of Children’s Services (CHC50302) is designed for individuals who wish to develop the skills required to develop and evaluate an early childhood program. Graduates will have responsibility for staff and volunteers and in most states it is the highest qualification required at Director or Service Manager level in a childcare setting.
Diploma of Accounting:
The Diploma of Accounting aims to provide basic financial management, costing, taxation law and business law. Students learn to produce and analyse financial reports, and develop management techniques for a small team.
Advanced Diploma of Accounting:
The Advanced Diploma of Accounting is an industry - specified pathway for students wishing to practise as an accountant. Students will also learn to produce and analyse financial reports, and develop management techniques for a small team.
Certificate II in Business:This qualification reflects the role of individuals who perform a range of mainly routine tasks using limited practical skills and fundamental operational knowledge in a defined context, working under direct supervision.
Certificate IV in Business Management:
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of contexts. They apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analyse and evaluate information from a variety of success. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.
Diploma of Management:
The Diploma of Management provides the skills and knowledge needed to manage the strategic and operational areas of an organisation. It is for students who aspire to be managers in medium sized organisations across all industry sectors.
Certificate II in Information Technology:
The Certificate II in Information Technology will offer the student an introduction to basic computer packages and integration of computers in the workplace.
Certificate III in Information Technology:
Certificate III in Information Technology provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in introductory Information and Communications Technology ‘technical’ functions and is designed to support information activities in the workplace and to achieve a degree of self-sufficiency as an advanced ICT ‘user’.
Certificate IV in Information Technology
The Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking) develops skills and knowledge in the installation and management of simple networks and provides for an individual to be effective in network management either as an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team.
Diplona of Information Technology:
Diploma of Information Technology (Networking) provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in high-level network management and engineering.
Advanced Diploma of Information Technology:
Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Network Security) provides skills and knowledge in planning, technical design, implementation & management of complex and high-level network security and components. Students will also gain the skills to identify and isolate key security issues within network infrastructures and network servers.
