Bologna Business School - University of Bologna:
Alma Graduate School becomes the Foundation of the University of Bologna, with a new name, Bologna Business School, thus strengthening its international reach, as seen in an increasing number of initiatives in the English language intended for a global audience, such as regular conferences, summer school, short-term courses, fellowships, exchange programs, and last but not least full professional Master programs.
12-month International MBA Programs Taught Entirely in English
The curriculum of the each of our MBA programs is divided in two main parts: General Management (core courses), and a number of Specialized Courses which specific to your chosen concentration. Our programs also feature a Business English course; and intensive Italian classes are offered free of charge to international participants who wish to improve their language skills during their stay in Italy. Entry Requirements
Admissions requirements for the 2015-2016 intake are:
- Undergraduate degree;
- 2+ years of qualified work experience;
- English proficiency.
The admissions process is divided into two rounds of application:
Round I: April 15, 2015
Round II: June 15, 2015 (June 30, 2015 for EU graduates)
Admission to the program is subject to the positive assessment of the candidates' individual interview and qualifications (e.g. curriculum vitae, GMAT/GRE, reference letters, etc.).
Students who achieve positions of merit in the final list of qualified candidates may benefit from full or partial scholarships. All students are eligible to apply for a special long-term and low-interest honor loan (no collateral required).
Master in Marketing, Communication and New Media
Bologna Business School aims to create graduates who are prepared and able to carry out marketing and communication activities with special focus on web 2.0 and social networking, take on board managerial roles or enter into consulting careers in an industry undergoing a continuous revolution.
Social media has changed the paradigm from which we interpret reality and this is being recognised by companies in the world, who are constantly increasing the amount that they invest in their online advertising. The global connectivity is getting bigger through the expansion of mobile devices. What we are witnessing is more than a technological revolution, it is a deep socio-cultural transformation.
The Master in Marketing, Communication and New Media offers tools to address all activities related to market research and business communication. Graduates of this master's program find jobs in the communication and marketing departments of service and manufacturing enterprises, public administration companies and consulting firms, with specific focus on digital communication, web marketing and advertising.

The Master is a 12-month full-time program divided in two terms, followed by an internship project.
First term: December 2014 - April 2015
Second term: April 2015 - July 2015
Internship: August 2015 - December 2015
- In the first term students will cover 5 courses: Accounting, Corporate Communication, Information Systems and Databases, Business & Trade Marketing and Marketing & Marketing Research.
- Those students interested can also choose to take an extra curricular course in Italian language.
- The second term involves 6 courses: Digital Interactive Marketing, Integrated Communication Planning, Industry Structure of Digital Communication, Strategic Positioning & Online/Offline Reputation, Search Marketing & Web Analyticsfor Businesses and Web Technologies.
The program is structured in 1500 hours of learning activities (400 hours of classroom instruction, 600 hours of individual study and 500 hours of internship) corresponding to 60 credits.

- Undergraduate Degree (the title must be obtained by the enrollment deadline)
