The New York Studio School on West 8th Street in Lower Manhattan is where drawing, painting and sculpture are studied in depth, debated energetically and created with passion. We provide a range of art programs to adults and students, including a Master of Fine Art (MFA) and Certificate Program in Fine Art which mirrors the Masters Degree. From our historic campus in New York City, students can enroll in full and part-time programs as well as evening and weekend courses designed to suit their needs.

The School occupies eight historic buildings with an extraordinary cultural and artistic history. Occupied by various artists, and the original home of the Whitney Museum of American Art from 1931 to 1954, the School's physical home has been a place where art has been created, discussed and displayed for over a century.In the forty five years that the School has been on West 8th Street, artists and students alike have found both inspiration and comfort in continuing the tradition of drawing, painting and sculpting in the historic spaces that have played such an important role in the history of art in America.

The New York Studio School is chartered by the Board of Regents of The University of the State of New York with the authority to award the Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree. The School's MFA program is registered by the New York State Education Department under the quality standards in the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education.
The New York Studio School's atelier-based curriculum operates in terms of a group teaching model for both the full-time and part-time programs. These courses are open to beginning and advanced artists regardless of their affiliation. As part of the School's structure, students work from life, from compositional drawings and from their imaginations. Our programs include:

The Little Studio is a boutique arts school situated on Manhattan's Upper East Side (71st Street). We provide specialized courses in Handcrafted Jewelry, Fashion Accessories, and Ceramic Restoration.
All courses are one-on-one, with lessons scheduled according to each student's convenience.

The Jewelry Arts Institute (JAI) in New York has been committed to researching, preserving and teaching the jewelry making techniques of the Classical Period for over 30 years, passing on these nearly lost traditions to students from all corners of the world. Located at 22 East 49th Street in Midtown Manhattan, we teach all classical jewelry techniques in every class. These techniques are granulation in silver and 22k gold, Byzantine enameling, classical chain making, classical settings, lapidary and other related techniques. Since all projects are taught by one-on-one demonstration, students of all levels can be enrolled in all classes. This is true for both the semester classes and the intensive workshops. We have a teacher for every five or six students so the student receives a lot of attention. If a student were to complete all of the many projects we have developed, he/she would end up with a complete background of classical jewelry techniques.

The Barrow Group Acting School is located in Manhattan, New York City. We offer training in Scene Study, Script Analysis, Playwriting, Directing, Film and Television Acting Technique, and other Specialty Classes for professional and emerging artists.
