The New York Film Academy is a dynamic institution offering intensive, hands-on training in filmmaking, acting for film, digital journalism in affiliation with NBC News, documentary filmmaking, producing, screenwriting, and 3-D animation. The Academy was founded in 1992 at Robert DeNiros Tribeca Film Center on a belief that a top quality education in filmmaking should be accessible to anyone with the drive and ambition to make films. Since that time we have grown into our own facilities in Manhattans Union Square and Soho. We also opened Film Academies at Universal Studios in Los Angeles and London, UK, England.

Bechstein America recently launched the new School of Music at the Bechstein Centre in Manhattan, New York City. We offer piano lessons for children and adults, inspired by the company’s rich musical history and legacy of supporting music education. From tuneful toddlers to enthusiastic elders, everyone can experience the joys of “making music” in a warm, supportive, yet disciplined environment. Our philosophy is that learning to play piano should be fun—but should also encompass the fundamental, traditional learning processes.In addition to private instruction and group lessons, the Bechstein School of Music offers music history and theory classes, with special programs for preschoolers and toddlers.
