Aimed at people who need to pick up shorthand skills in the shortest possible time, this great new Teeline course from Pitman Training will teach you shorthand theory and practice in just 35 hours, enabling you to start taking dictation to a speed of 40 wpm.
The programme assumes no prior knowledge, so this is a great way for secretaries, journalists and others to learn shorthand in the shortest possible time.
Teeline Speed Development Shorthand Course
If you're already using Teeline, this course will help you develop your speed, dexterity and mental word-holding when taking dictation or notes. It's great for secretaries, journalists or anybody who needs to take dictation at high speed. In fact, a number of our students are journalists, people working in the law courts and secretaries.
You'll work through various speed levels spending approximately 10 hours on each level to achieve your goals. The course offers use of dictation material with varied content e.g. literary; parliamentary and company reports; commercial; general interest etc. Some theory and practice work will be required outside of the time spent at the training centre.
