Summer School for Fine Arts & Media, Venice: The International Summer Academy for Fine Arts and Media in Venice, Italy is a combination of academic studies and an open academy. The courses are offered for students of universities as well as for applicants without training in art. In this way, it combines advanced level with open accessibility. Courses take place parallel to the Venice Biennales, which also influence the program. The uniqueness of the summer academy in Venice is the concept of small, specialized classes with the possibility to combine them. All courses include a training module for beginners providing techniques and skills with most recent didactic methods.

FACTBOX The International Summer Academy of Fine Arts and Media takes place during the Art Biennale in Venice, which is involved into the program as well. The master classes are offered for post gradual students and beginners alike. Tuition fees: € 250, - enrolment fee plus € 350.- entry fee per week. Student discount: 40%. Sarteano Chamber Choral Workshop - Young Adult/Teen Division, is a summer workshop in Italy designed for the singer, conductor or music educator who loves singing and working in a chamber choral setting. We are an intensive music workshop. All of our tutors teach at the University level. The workshop is located in Sarteano, a picturesque hill town in the Siena province of Tuscany, dotted with palazzi and overlooked by a medieval castle. The workshop and final concert will be held in the centro storico (historic center), a pedestrian area of small winding streets, quaint homes, lovely stores, and fine restaurants. With its magical Renaissance ambiance, Sarteano is the perfect place to come to sing chamber choral music. You will be part of a twenty-six to twenty-eight voice group that will perform a capella choral music from madrigals to the twentieth century. Experience the joy of creating music on the highest level, working with other committed and talented young musicians, and learning the inner workings and dynamics of intensive chamber ensemble performance.
Summer Workshop in Italy designed for the Singer, Conductor or Music Educator:
There are three possible tiers of participation:
- Full Conductor,
- Conducting Auditor or
- Singer (serious singers ages 15 20, who are looking for a strong chamber ensemble experience).
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or chaperone. The main language used in the workshop is English.
• Our summer courses in 2026 will take place in North Yorkshire, England. We very much hope to organise a course in Florence / Italy or in another mainland Europe country in 2027. Further details will be published in August 2026 or earlier if possible.

• Taught by internationally renowned professors, mostly at master class level, the LMFL program includes instrumental and voice tuition, master classes, chamber music, composition, music theory, choir, & orchestra conducting classes.
