United Nations Nursery School in Paris, is a private, bilingual school welcoming children between two and a half and six years of age. The school is presently located on Rue Pierre Guérin at Paris’s 16th arrondissement, the largest administrative district of Paris, on the west side of Paris, in the building that once housed the “Petite Ecole”, a nursery school established in 1916 by Madame Alice Hertz in memory of her son killed in action during the First World War.
A bucolic setting in an urban environment, the school nestles amid greenery in a quiet little cul-de-sac far from the noise and bustle of city streets. The children enjoy a private sunny garden itself surrounded by greenery (1500 square metres). Here they learn to observe nature, they plant flowers and grow vegetables. The garden is a source of fundamental discoveries which enrich their understanding of the world.
