So no matter how brief your volunteer experience, you can make a difference. The gift you receive will be life long memories and a deep insight into the social and cultural reality. There are volunteer positions available, beginning with a
minimum of 2 weeks up to 2 months or more…There are a variety of options for your volunteer position. You can spend time with children in a children´s hospital, orphanage, day care center, neighborhood library, or street project. There are positions in several hospitals, and even in an institution for the blind.
Qualifications and Requirements
The most important qualification that any volunteer can bring to their volunteer position is the willingness to help others and the desire to make a difference. For the majority of the position no special knowledge or skill is needed. Where required, the exact qualifications and skills required will be listed.
What level of Spanish is required?
For most positions, a basic level of Spanish is required. The two week course that you will complete with ACUPARI will give you the basics and more for your volunteer position.
Is there a minimum age for volunteers?
Yes, all volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
Is there a minimum work period?
Yes, we ask anyone interested in a volunteer position to devote a minimum of at least 2 weeks to the project.

The campus surrounds a beautiful courtyard & garden, where classrooms are situated around two levels in a charming historic building.
