Sport and Active Lifestyles:
The Sport and Active Lifestyles Programme at Sheffield Hallam University (1 hour from Manchester, England), provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses that reflect the diverse nature of the sports industry. We currently offer ten undergraduate and six postgraduate sport courses, which are all delivered by our highly experienced staff.

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sport Business Management Degree:
Efficient business and management systems are essential for any organisation in the sport sector, creating a demand for graduates with knowledge of the sports industry and business management. This honours degree course integrates key business management theories with current sport management research, and links students directly with the external sport business management environment.

Year one modules:
Finance for sport and leisure managers, sport marketing principles and practice, sport business law and ethics, an introduction to the sport industry, developing management skills, sport business in the community, managing the business of sport.

Year two core modules:
Sport business enterprise, applied marketing and finance, research in sport and physical activity, managing people, work-based learning (placement), operational sport business, project management.

Year two options:
Community practice 1, sport event and fundraising, physical activity development 1.

Year three core modules:
Strategic management of sport business, management applications, contemporary issues in the sport industry, project.

Year three options:
Community practice 2, the impact of major events, physical activity development 2, economics and finance of professional sport, marketing and the media
