Facilities:

Internet Studio:
Our Internet Studio is open all day and evening. (8:30-18:30). With high speed ADSL Internet connections and 20 flat screen monitors, you can always find space and time to keep in touch with family and friends.

Computer Lab:
In addition to our Internet room, we have installed a computer lab with 16 state-of-the-art PCs loaded with modern, useful software to enable students to maximise their studies. High-speed Internet, computer linking, projection facilities and well-trained staff will ensure this wonderful facility greatly enhances students’ learning at Bloomsbury International.

Cinema:
Students can enjoy a wide range of activities in our 60-seat multi-media cinema, a facility unique among UK language schools where among other events, we host our film club, karaoke parties, lectures and presentations.

Cafe:
The cafeteria at Bloomsbury International is equipped and decorated to a very high standard. It is one of the focal points of Bloomsbury International, where student gather to eat, drink, socialise or use their laptop computers with our wireless internet. It offers fresh food and drink at very reasonable prices.

TOEFL Test Centre:
Our state of the art, purpose built TOEFL test centre provides the latest in comfort and technology, providing candidates with the resources and environment to achieve maximum results.

In a homestay family you can have your own room or share with a friend. You will have use of all essential facilities including the kitchen & bathroom and you will eat your meals together with the family (You can choose to have breakfast only or breakfast and dinner every day). You will normally stay with the same host family for the duration of your stay. Many students keep in touch with their homestay families once they have returned home and remain friends for many years.

Rooms are cleaned frequently and bed linen changed weekly. While you will be allowed to receive incoming calls, you are advised for your convenience to bring or buy a mobile. They can be bought for approximately £60.00. One load of laundry per week will be done for you. There is no Internet access or laptop plug-in point. If you would rather have your own independence or prefer to cook for yourself and still be comfortable and live centrally, then a student flatshare could be the best choice for you. We have a selection of different properties so you could be sharing a 2 bedroom apartment or a large house with 6 other students.

Flats are usually in zones 2 and are between 30 to 40 minutes away from Bloomsbury International. You can choose between a single, twin or double room and you will share the kitchen, bathroom and other facilities with your housemates. Bed linen is provided and most student houses have a washing machine or you can use a nearby launderette.

Rooms are cleaned thoroughly prior to your arrival and you will be expected to keep it clean during your stay. There are no telephone facilities in the flats and you are advised for your convenience to bring or buy a mobile.

To enable you to make the most of your time in London, develop your English communication skills and make friends, we offer an exciting year-round calendar of social and cultural activities in and out of the school and weekend excursions outside of London.

Because we appreciate that London can be an expensive city for some students, we endeavor to provide as many free or low-cost activities as possible.

However, there may be charges for some events which you may wish to participate in. A typical weekly schedule of paid events and approximate costs are:
