All our hosts are known to us as they have been interviewed and the accommodation they offer is always inspected every two years. Care is taken to ensure that the family environment is safe and domestic conditions are of a good standard. The hosts recruited come from a wide range of social backgrounds and it is also important to know our hosts reflect the changing society within Britain and may represent a cross-section of ethnic and cultural origins. Many of our hosts have considerable experience in hosting. Hosts provide our Students with a welcoming and comfortable environment, help with understanding the British way of life, provide a clean room and good quality living conditions, and provide meals (breakfast and dinner from Monday to Friday, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday).

If you choose this type of accommodation we will help you to find a private self-contained one, two or three bedroom flat in Cardiff, however you must sign up to a contract for 6 months or more with the landlord. Many of our Students who decide on this option choose to study long-term at CMLA.
