Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy and Early Learning Center is a private Christian college preparatory school for students from Kindergarten through to 12th grade. Athletics:
Although our main focus is on academic achievement using biblical principles, Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy (SACA)is also known for its variety of sports offerings. From basketball to ballet to track, SACA has had the opportunity to include students of all ages in a faith based, competitive and enthusiastic athletic program.
High School Basketball:
Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy is pleased to be the home of the "Warriors" basketball teams, the Boys and Girls 2006 State Champions. As a member of the Georgia High School Athletic Association, we are participants in Varsity and Junior Varsity Boys and Girls basketball teams (see schedule). Students must have the required grade point average and complete a yearly try out to participate with these teams.
Community Basketball Leagues:
In an effort to provide all of our students with the oppo
rtunity to participate in sports activities, the SACA family is also involved with basketball teams for students as young as 6 years old. Our community basketball leagues provide a variety of activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Track:
SACA is a member of the Amateur Athletic Union and participates in Spring and Summer track competitions for students 8- 18 years old. Our teams have competed, and placed, on the local, state and national levels. All students must complete try-outs to participate in these activities.
Pep Squad:
With all of the sports teams competing, there must be a way to encourage our students to push beyond what they see and persevere to the prize. The SACA Pep Squad was developed to accomplish that goal. Showing lots of energy and creativity, our Pep Squad has continued to cheer on the fans and encourage our players. Boys and girls 6th grade and up may be considered for participation.
The Apprentice Ballet Company:
The Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy Apprentice Ballet Company was founded in the Fall of 1998 and has continued to grow with students participating from the 1st - 12th grades. Students are being taught according to the vigorous program of the Russian Method and have had the opportunity to view and participate in ballet performances with dancers from the Atlanta Ballet. All participants are required to interview and try out for this program.

Piano Art Studio offers intensive piano training throughout Gwinnett County (part of the Atlanta metro area), GA for advanced piano performance students, and preparation training for competitions, solo recitals and college exams. Intermediate students are accepted as well.Piano training classes are run by Dr. Lusia Glagoleva, who has a Ph.D. in Piano Performance and Pedagogy. As a member of American National Music Teachers Association and American Federation of Musicians, Lusia always explores opportunities to take part in Auditions, Competitions, and Festivals with her advanced students.
For many years, Lusia Glagoleva has been successfully combining her work as an instructor, Professor of Special Piano at Musical Colleges, Conservatory, and Institutes with her concert appearances.
