Founded in 1977 and located in Johns Creek, Fulton County, Georgia, North Atlanta Dance Academy is dedicated to top quality dance training and provides fun yet challenging dance to students beginning age three through pre-professional. Whether a casual student or a dedicated pre-professional, all those who study at NADA receive proper skills in ballet technique, pointe, character, modern, jazz and tap. Between the ages of three to six much is accomplished in a child’s development. Instilling in our children a sense of accomplishment is one of the greatest gifts we can give them.

Professional companies, which were considered strictly classically oriented, now maintain contemporary repertoires. Predominantly jazz or broadway dancers must have good ballet technique.

We at NADA are dedicated to nurturing all children from a young age upwards to foster a love of dance, while having fun in discovery and reaching her potential. Ultimately our programs are designed to prepare students for entry into our full dance program and beyond should they have the desire to pursue dancing as a career.

Today, modern companies seek dancers with strong classical foundations. Talented artists with solid classical and contemporary foundations possess a higher probability of success.

Located in Sandy Springs, Fulton County, Georgia, The Bush Centre For Ballet offers ballet and pointe lessons for children and adults, including pre-ballet I for 4-5 year olds, pre-ballet II for 5-7 year olds, ballet I & II for children of 8 years upwards as well as pointe lessons for children of 11 years upwards.

Classes are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons & Saturday morning. Adult stretch class is on Wednesday morning. The Director Ms. Bush believes in creating a healthy environment in which students will learn to appreciate the history and various techniques of classical ballet.

Our children’s and teenager´s classes are designed to foster those skills appropriate to their age group and may incorporate respect, sharing, participation, leadership, listening, following directions and self-discipline. This is achieved through a methodology of instruction created by the Royal Academy of Dance in order to promote healthy and happy self-images in a fun, controlled class environment.

We provide summer dance camps in June and July for children ages 5-8, and 9-16 yrs. They include dance lessons, a ballet related craft project and movies of ballet performances.
