White River Academy is an all boys boarding school for troubled teens, 13 to 17 years old, located located in Delta, Utah, which is a small farming community about 2 ½ hours from Salt Lake City.
Many schools have large campuses and often times teens fall through the cracks as they get larger and larger. White River Academy has a small family oriented campus. Due to this we are able to spend more time with each student and make sure their problems do not go un-noticed.

White River Academy Troubled Teen Boarding School is located in the beautiful desert of Delta, Utah. This setting is ideal for our behavior modification programs - it has been chosen for its safety, peacefulness, and distance from urban temptations which frequently beset problem teens.
The location of our troubled youth programs gives your troubled teen the opportunity to have a break from negative teen peer pressure, habits, and bad environments.
Delta, is a small town it is located 78 miles SW of Provo, Utah and 260 miles NE of Las Vegas, Nevada. It is in Millard county. The population of the city in 2000 was 3,209. The desert location of our teen boot camp makes it very unlikely for us to have runaway teens.

West Ridge Academy

West Ridge Academy is a youth rehabilitation boarding school for boys and girls (ages 9-18) in West Jordan, a suburb of Salt Lake City in Utah. Since 1964, West Ridge Academy (formerly known as the Utah Boys Ranch) has been helping troubled teens and bringing hope to struggling young men, young women and their families by providing clinical services, a quality residential education and experiences which promote spiritual awareness, personal accountability and change of heart.
Appropriate candidates are adolescent males and females, ages 9-18, with a history of soft to moderate emotional and behavioral problems, low self-esteem, academic underachievement, substance abuse and family conflict. The school is Christian but non-denominational.
We help troubled adolescents make real, lifelong and sometimes life saving changes. From the earliest days, the organization recognized the positive effect its program had on young men who were struggling academically, emotionally and socially.
Today, the academy has served more than 25,000 students, has expanded to include separate and distinct campuses for boys and girls, and continues to bring hope and healing to families across the world.

Cherry Gulch

Cherry Gulch is an accredited therapeutic boarding school for boys ages 10 to 14 with various difficulties including ADHD, learning differences, oppositional-defiance, depression, low self-esteem, poor motivation, anger, anxiety, family conflict, and other behavioral and emotional problems. Located beneath the western slope of the Rocky Mountains near Boise, Idaho, in the North West Pacific region of the United States (east of Washington State), we are equipped to handle very difficult students as well as "softer" students with more internalizing behaviors. We are an ADHD boarding school that knows how to cater to your troubled child.
We are also prepared academically to work with students with learning difficulties and those that are brilliant academically. Our goal is to provide early intervention and prevention to help these boys reach their full potential and to become well-rounded pro social young men.

Sundance Canyon Academy, located in Herriman, southwestern Salt Lake County, Utah, is a therapeutic boarding school for boys between the ages of 13-17 years. Academics is foremost in the interest of many of our students. It is our mission to assist them in continuation of their educational goals by providing an accredited and useful curriculum which enables them to continue their education and work towards successful graduation with a deep sense of accomplishment.
Two of the most common problems we treat at Sundance are school failure and opposition-defiance. Our typical student has low self-esteem and is struggling with authority. Other common problems we address include drug experimentation, mood disorders, and family discord.

Located in beautiful Spanish Fork, 60 miles south of Salt Lake City, Utah, New Haven is part of InnerChange, a family of programs that provide education, treatment, and recovery for adolescent girls and young women. InnerChange programs include Residential Treatment Programs for girls age 13-17 and a Transition Program for young women. New Haven Residential Treatment Center offers a unique program that helps adolescent girls achieve positive change and growth through academic, therapeutic and environmental experiences. Located in Cedar City, Iron County UT, 250 miles south of Salt Lake City, Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy (MSPA) is a transitional boarding school for boys & girls ages 14-18, who are transitioning from a residential treatment center (RTC) or wilderness program in need of a safe environment to practice the new skills that that they have learned. MSPA is not a therapeutic boarding school but therapy is available from trained professionals in the community who work with MSPA and understand our unique mission and philosophy.
