White River Academy:
White River Academy is an all boys boarding school for troubled teens ages 13-17 in Delta, Utah, which is a small farming community about 2 ½ hours from Salt Lake City. We are a small family oriented campus, and are able to spend more time with each student and make sure their problems do not go un-noticed. Students are in class six days a week so as to sharpen academic skills in many of the basic courses like Math, Science, English, History and more.
Therapeutic Boarding School for Boys Ages 13-17:
An independent teen study curriculum that covers courses six through twelve as well as college and GED preparation. Our special focus is on helping troubled teens by using the Positive Peer Culture Model.
We offer 60 day or a 90 Day Wake up Call Programs and a Long Term Program that includes: Academics, Health and Therapy, Family Support, Self Esteem Building, Positive Peer Culture, Recreation Therapy.
WRA is an alternative school for troubled teens which focuses on permanent lifestyle changes in the physical, mental, social, and emotional aspects of a struggling teen's life. Our teen parent counseling also helps troubled teens appreciate the validity of being responsible for their actions and accepting accountability for the consequences of those actions.
WRA therapeutic boarding schools utilize an independent teen study curriculum that covers courses six thru twelve as well as college and GED preparation.
Parents and siblings of troubled teens are provided with the necessary skills to constantly support and reinforce the positive changes made by the student after graduation from the adolescent residential treatment program.
Troubled teen boarding school students participate in emotional growth Positive Peer Culture group sessions, self-esteem building, goal setting and goal review sessions. Troubled youth may also participate in individual teen therapy as often as it is determined necessary.
We have Parent-Teen Weekends regularly to meet with the parents and evaluate the progress of their teen and readjust their individual searvice plan if necessary.
Parent Weekend also allows the teens and their parents to do some very fun activities together which is encouraging for the teen and educational for the parent. Located in Gunnison, Central Utah, Fieldstone Academy Boarding School is a co-educational boarding school that specializes in College Prep and Academic Catch-up programs. Located in Cedar City, Iron County UT, 250 miles south of Salt Lake City, Mountain Springs Preparatory Academy (MSPA) is a transitional boarding school for boys & girls ages 14-18, who are transitioning from a residential treatment center (RTC) or wilderness program in need of a safe environment to practice the new skills that that they have learned. MSPA is not a therapeutic boarding school but therapy is available from trained professionals in the community who work with MSPA and understand our unique mission and philosophy. Located in northwestern Montana, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is an accredited, family-run, therapeutic boarding school for troubled teens (boys and girls) ages 13-18 from New Mexico and across the United States.In our beautiful, peaceful, and safe location, we combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC).
TWAI has been serving struggling teens and their families since 2002, with an exceptional degree of success.
We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to our students, and offer help for the following presenting issues: poor academic performance, behavioral problems, addictions, low self-worth, spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD, and attachment disorders among others.

Academics is foremost in the interest of many of our students.
