White River Academy:
White River Academy is an all boys boarding school for troubled teens ages 13-17 in Delta, Utah, which is a small farming community about 2 ½ hours from Salt Lake City. We are a small family oriented campus, and are able to spend more time with each student and make sure their problems do not go un-noticed. Students are in class six days a week so as to sharpen academic skills in many of the basic courses like Math, Science, English, History and more.
Therapeutic Boarding School for Boys Ages 13-17:
An independent teen study curriculum that covers courses six through twelve as well as college and GED preparation. Our special focus is on helping troubled teens by using the Positive Peer Culture Model.
We offer 60 day or a 90 Day Wake up Call Programs and a Long Term Program that includes: Academics, Health and Therapy, Family Support, Self Esteem Building, Positive Peer Culture, Recreation Therapy.
WRA is an alternative school for troubled teens which focuses on permanent lifestyle changes in the physical, mental, social, and emotional aspects of a struggling teen's life. Our teen parent counseling also helps troubled teens appreciate the validity of being responsible for their actions and accepting accountability for the consequences of those actions.
WRA therapeutic boarding schools utilize an independent teen study curriculum that covers courses six thru twelve as well as college and GED preparation.
Parents and siblings of troubled teens are provided with the necessary skills to constantly support and reinforce the positive changes made by the student after graduation from the adolescent residential treatment program.
Troubled teen boarding school students participate in emotional growth Positive Peer Culture group sessions, self-esteem building, goal setting and goal review sessions. Troubled youth may also participate in individual teen therapy as often as it is determined necessary.
We have Parent-Teen Weekends regularly to meet with the parents and evaluate the progress of their teen and readjust their individual searvice plan if necessary.
Parent Weekend also allows the teens and their parents to do some very fun activities together which is encouraging for the teen and educational for the parent. Parenting teens today demands self-control, discipline, wisdom, sensitivity and deep insight into your teen's problems. We help you develop the skills you need to get back control of your family.

Provo Canyon School has been providing mental health care for boys and girls ages 12-17 for nearly 40 years. We are one of the nation’s largest and most experienced treatment facilities for youth. Provo Canyon School’s alumni and friends are its largest source of referrals, and our caring professionals operate in a unique environment which helps make a positive difference in a teenager’s life.
The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools (NAAS) has endorsed the school. The National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP) is also an associate of the school. We have a 242-bed facility with two different campus sites for boys and girls.
Provo is the location of the boy's campus; the girl's campus is situated at Orem. We provide services to students who are between the ages of 11 and 17 years of age (7th to 12th graders) with a variety of different clinical needs.
The average length of stay for a Provo Canyon School student is 10 months, however this can vary considerably depending on the clinical issues of the student. All of our teachers are special education certified.

Established in 2002, Turning Winds Academic Institute (TWAI) is a leading therapeutic boarding school in Montana for troubled teen boys & girls ages 13-18.We combine the benefits of a therapeutic boarding school, a wilderness program, and a residential treatment center (RTC) on our beautiful and safe 150 acre campus.
We provide an extremely high standard of therapeutic treatment to students across the U.S. & students from around the world (TWAI is authorized to issue 1-20's for international students).

We create a customized program for each student that requires a minimum of 3 months. However, best results for lasting success are realized through 6+ months of treatment.
TWAI graduates average a 3.5 GPA. It is common for a student to complete 1.5 years of course work in 1 year.
Located in Ogden, Utah, Crossroads Academy is a therapeutic boarding school for young men aged 16 and 17 years old who have experienced substance abuse with diagnoses of oppositional defiant disorder, mood disorders and ADHD and learning disorders. Crossroads Academy is committed to helping each student find joy and confidence in learning.
