What is Godly Play?
Godly Play teaches children the art of using Christian language - parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God’s presence in their lives. Holy Cross Lutheran School Director, Jenifer Montgomery, and Pastor John Bost alternate working through Godly Play discovery with the 4 year olds and jr. k children.
The breadth of Godly Play spans both the Old and New Testaments as well as special times during the church's calendar, like Advent, Lent, and special occasions like the Lord's Supper and Baptism. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to come and see what Godly Play is all about.

Children's Village Preschool in Orange County, approximately 3 miles north of Santa Ana, is a developmental, play based preschool offering programs to children from ages 18 months to 6 years. We strive to challenge children’s creativity and to be aware and respectful of their emotional needs, and to support and facilitate their social development by providing opportunities for children to build positive self-esteem. Our philosophy at Children's Village Preschool is based on the belief that children learn best when exposed to a challenging environment that offers a variety of meaningful hands-on activities and experiences.
